Build Strategy

Starting class: Knight

Starting item: Soul

(I use Ps4 so that is why this says R1\R2\L1\L2)(The Blessed Caestus is for a small regen for the runners who go away to avoid dying or to summon a phantom, sometimes both, be prepared for gank fights.)This Build is focused on switching between Wolf Knight Greatsword and Farron Greatsword to keep your enemy on edge. Another key component is Two-handing, (you can use one hand Wolf Knight Greatsword but mostly for Caestus parry, but you will have practically no reason to One-hand Farron Greatsword) Two-handing is nessacary as it allows for the Weapon Arts to be more accessible. Allows for parry\riposte (Caestus and Hornet or Farron Greatsword L2 and Hornet). Avoid spamming the same moves, otherwise you expose yourself to a quick death. Be careful when using the Farron Greatsword's L1 move, because there is a way to parry it, and when parried opens you up to a free backstab from your opponent. When you use the attack the first time, if you hit them with it then execute the second part of the combo (very easy to miss with the third part of the combo, so execute caution when using it). Use one or two attacks with Farron Greatsword, then switch to Wolf Knight Greatsword (You can switch these at any time to throw your opponent off, though It is highly advised AGAINST falling into a pattern of switching periodically. Needs to be random as applicable). With the Wolf Knight Greatsword, you can use the R1 Weapon art if your opponent loves sheilding (appears to go under it, test it out yourself), I would advise using the R2 especially on an enemy with low health who is: A) out of Estus, or B) Can't use Estus (not required for final blow, but all the more satisfying to use). Undead Hunter Charms to stop estus recovery for final blow, Duel Charm for stopping Health Regen, and Med Heal for when you have time and the space to do a quick spell. Black Firebombs/Rope Black Firebombs (Rope for same thing only the are right behind you which shouldn't be much of a problem) to finish of enemy at low health. And of course the Legion Etiquette emote for Bow/Taunt. And now I say to you "Break a leg!" or an Arm, which ever works for you.
