I'm pretty damn sure that this thing is Demon and not a Ghru. The tree-like protrusions on their heads are very reminiscent of the likes of the Asylum Demon and Fire Demon. Their tails look quite like those of the Asylum Demon, Capra Demon, and Taurus Demon as well. And they are only found in thus area which Demons used to thrive in. On top of this, they have fur on their bodies, four arms, and even drop Chaos Gems. I'm far more certain that this is a Demon than a Ghru, since I see very few similarities to that of a Ghru.
