Heavy Bolt

Large, more powerful bolts with a shorter range due to their weight. Simultaneously equip two types of bolt, and switch between them as needed.

Heavy Bolt is an Ammunition in Dark Souls 3.

Heavy Bolt Usage

Ammo for Crossbows
More powerful than Standard Bolts, but have shorter range due to their weight.
Deals 64 Physical damage.
Deals Thrust Damage.

Heavy Bolt Locations

Available to purchase (100 souls) from Greirat of the Undead Settlement after his first thieving run.
Sold from the Shrine Handmaiden, for 100 souls after Greirats first thieving run and then giving her Greirat's ashes .

Notes

These bolts inflict increased damage at closer range, and if preferable if the target is within meele distance.
Inversely, their damage drops rather quickly the farther the bolt flies. Be wary of using these at long range.

  Drop x10 from the Cathedral Knight with the crossbow up in the rafters of Cathedral of the Deep. Not sure about the drop rate.
