Lifedrain is a Skill in Dark Souls 3.

Weapons That Have Lifedrain

Notes & Information

  • As of Update 1.11, The Ringed City Update, poise is now given to the player during the grab.
  • The grab range is very short, requiring the user to practically be right in their face. The hitbox does linger for quite some time, so it is possible to roll catch.
  • It seems that the HP steal depends on your stats and the level of the opponent (there is a level cap), as a character with 99 Intelligence and 99 Faith will steal 444 HP instead of the usual 228.
  • Lifedrain can be used on some of the normal mobs, but it only deal damage and not leech their HP.

    • Too weak even after buff08 Jul 2016 06:06

Even though this ability is able to do way more damage than before, it is STILL the weakest ability in the game.

-The hitbox feels smaller than sacred flame

-Its charge up is too long

-All it takes is a simple roll out of the way to avoid it even if they roll right into the ability

-Has such terrible range that it can only hit people standing completely still and right up against you (100% unlikely in PvP unless their controller dies)

-Even if someone is walking right next to you it will miss just about every time because of latency in the game

This is very disappointing for such a cool weapon. It honestly makes me question whether the developers actually test out their weapons after they buff/nerf it to make sure it isn't ruined again...
