This is a player-created Build for Dark souls 3.

  • Build Name: Low SL PVP build with katana
  • Build Level: 9
  • Build Focus: PvP
  • Build Main Stat: END/VIG

 

Build Equipment

  • Right Hand: Fire Uchigatana +2
  • Left Hand: Pyromancy Flame +2
  • Head: none
  • Chest: none
  • Hands: none
  • Legs: none
  • Rings: Life Ring, Flynn's Ring, Fire Clutch Ring, Carthus Milkring (early in the game, fit my playstyle)
  • Items: Fire Surge

 

Build Strategy

  1. Choose Mercenary and Fire Gem at start.
  2. Kill Sword Master Saber and get your Uchigatana. Infuse it with Fire Gem. Level up ur STR stat by 1.
  3. While obtaining Red Eyed Orb you can freely level up to 20 (into END/VIG) and upgrade Uchigatana to +2.
  4. For that u need Pale Tongue. You can get it after fight with Fire Demon (with Siegward).
  5. Then lighting the Cliff Underside bonfire or defeat the Curse-Rotted Greatwood in the Undead Settlement.
  6. Now talk with Leonhard at Firelink Shrine and he will give you the Lift Chamber Key to the locked door below the Tower on the Wall bonfire. Head there, unlock the door, take the lift down and defeat the Darkwraith there to obtain the Red Eye Orb.
  7. Enjoy your low level invasions, skeleton!

P.S. I was choosing from early game katanas: Uchi, Bloodlust, Darkdrift.
Since there was highest req katana with 28 DEX i decided to compare them all at that point.
Raw Uchi +2 177
Sharp Uchi +2 129+60
Normal Uchi +2 138+42
Fire Uchi +2 115+115
Darkdrift +2 154+42
Bloodlust +2 126+59
So u can mix a little bit with SL because there is formula for invasions something like
HOST LVL - 10 LVLS to HOST LVL + 20 LVLS

      this is very bad build just use deprived fire broad +2 for more dmg and less stamina use and get max vigor..

        Say I wanted to level my Uchigatana to +9 while still keeping my level at 20. Would I still get paired up against people in the lvl 20 range or would the game pair me up against higher levels to compensate for the leveled weapon?

          for 1: Matchmaking forces you to play with people that match or exceed your weapon upgrade leveland 2: You are incapable of being invaded in high wall of lothric unless you have at least 1 phantom with you. You can only be invaded while solo starting in undead settlement.

            The uchi, whilst being a good weapon its super easy to counter especially if you go into the stance, if you are up against someone semi competent they will counter the slash and delay if you do the parry, other than that its good. The only other problem isn't so much the build as it is low level pvp is absolutely cancerous at the moment, with new players running around with a ton of phantoms good luck getting into decent fights ( you get the odd few of course) i have amassed 250 tongues so far on my on sl 20 build over the last day or so and the majority of that is 3+v1 gankfests.
