Priest's Chime is a Weapon in Dark Souls 3.



Sacred chime for casting miracles of the Gods, of the type given to Lothric priests. To cast a miracle, the caster learns a tale of the Gods, and says a prayer to be blessed by its revelations. The faith of the supplicant affects the strength of the miracle.

Skill: Gentle Prayer
Recovers HP for a period of time, albeit extremely slowly. Works while equipped in either hand.

 

Notes and Tips:

  • Cannot be Infused or Buffed.
  • Reinforced with Titanite.
  • The Priest's Chime is the highest Magic Adjust for low faith characters
  • At 29/30 faith, becomes worse than the Cleric's Sacred Chime
  • The chime has to remain active in your hand for the weapon art to continue regenerating health.
  • At 60 FTH it has a spellbuff of 224.

Parameter Bonus: Strength, Dexterity,Magic, Fire, Lightning and Dark bonuses - The scaling multiplier applied to the [Attack: stat]. Scaling quality is from highest to lowest as follows: S/A/B/C/D/E.The higher the player's [Str, Dex, Mag, Fire, Light] stat, the higher the [Attack Bonus: Stat] is (found on the player status screen). The higher the scaling letter, the higher the percent multiplier applied to the [Attack: Stat].This resulting bonus damage is added to the base physical damage of the weapon and is shown in the equipment screen in blue numbers as a "+ X". 
Durability: The weapon's HP, when the durability hits 0, the effectiveness of its attacks become weakened to the point of almost uselessness. When an items durability is low, a message will come up saying "Weapon At Risk!" at this point the weapon does not perform at it's best.
Weight: How much the item weights when equipped. 
Stability: How well the player keeps stance after being hit
Attack Type: Defines what kind of swing set the weapon has: Regular(R), Thrust(T), Slash(Sl), Strike(St)

      Priest's spell buff at [20: 125] [30: 138] [40: 183] [50: 203] [60: 224]

      Cleric's spell buff at [20: 107] [30: 142] [40: 177] [50: 207] [60: 232]

      The Priest's starts out better for low faith, with the Cleric's scaling "ramping" up until about 30, where it gets dumped a lot of spell buff, making Cleric's better at 30. Going from 30 to 40 though, the Priest's scaling ramps up too, just beating the Cleric's, making the Priest's better at 40. However the Cleric's continues to scale well beyond 40, taking the lead from 50 to 60. Consider Yorshka's from 50 to 60 however, as it starts out scaling every other chime by then.

      The Priest's is best for very low faith builds below 30, and SELECTIVELY used at 40 because of how its scaling works. Ideal as a pyromancer's chime, since their caps are at 40/40. The Crystal Chime is good for offensive miracles on a 40/40, but it doesn't count its int scaling in weapon buffs/heals, having only around 150-160 spell buff on faith scaling alone, when its displaying 216, making the Priest's a good fallback chime if you plan on healing a bit on a pyro

        I am looking at the +9 to +10 conversion and it doesn't show any buff besides the physical damage boost (Which, who would use it for smacking people?) But it looks like I'm capped at a 205 spell buff
