More like "edgy tryhard twink" set. When I invade someone, or get invaded at low level and see this, I just sigh. Because you know what to expect: prisoner chain, so he gets 15 free levels, op weapons from dlc, tears of denial and of course - estus cancelling.Because of dipshits like these I don't wear this set, as to not be lumped with them.

65 kills. No armor, tons of Hoods and Leggings.

Used +3 Gold Serpent ring and a gold coin. Had the whole set in about 15-20 kills. Gauntlets were last - the guy that dropped them also dropped another set of legs & hood, and a titanite scale. Lucky me, apparently.

The only reason I'm not fond of the ENTIRE set is that thru a practical standpoint point the hood kinda ruins the heavy armor experience. Obviously you can fix that with another heavy helmet (I like the exile helm or executioner helm for it cuz both fit the armor fashion while contributing to make a heavy loadout). Looks cool as **** tho and makes for fun looking arrangements.

Took me about 30 min to get the whole set. There are 4 of them after you take the ladder up to the purging monument. This was an ideal location for my caster because you can shoot down on 2 of them.

Farmed for like 10 minutes and got the whole set. I don't even have that high of lick and I only used the gold serpent ring+3

I was able to get this set while farming for about an hour and 15 minutes. I got gauntlets twice and leggings twice. I was using mimic head (couldn't spell the name right), gold serpent ring (not upgraded) and rusted coins. I think this time is pretty good, considering how long it is taking people in the comments. I hoped this helped someone :)

Just in canse there's anyone else who cant get the pants to drop. THE DARK LEGGINGS LOOK EXACTLY THE SAME. They drop from darkwraiths and have slightly different stats but they look EXACTLY the same. If you just want fashion souls and cant find the ringed knight leggings just go for the dark leggings.

I can explain it better: You better have more than 100h to farm for 1 armor piece because in that time you will only get one armor piece. The next armor piece will likely drop in the next 200h.

Why is there no trivia for how this armor is the precursor to the dark set like they look so alike the ringed knight gauntlets are longer dark gauntlets same with the boots the dark mask is had a dark hood and the chest piece looks like a rib cage not to mention the horned on the ring knight set are similar to the bone growths on the dark set also its obvious they where not named Ringed Wraiths because of Lord of The Rings I mean come on us some one put thin stuff in the trivia

I've wanted a cool black hood since I started the game. Like a black version of the conjurator hood. I was excited about this one. Now I have it and...meh. It's more Isis than assassin. The rest of the armor is pretty coo though.

If you run with the gs +3, it can totally happen. Something similar happened with a Silver Knight or Black Knight. OP rings I guess... but there's nothing wrong with facilitating farming - it's the basis of all civilization and difficult to accomplish achievements!

I have at least 8 spare complete armor sets on PS4 if anyone is still having any obscene amounts of difficulty. Killing the four in the swamp though is a pretty great farm as it can net you a decent amount of souls, the armor obviously, titanite chunks, titanite scales, and spear ornaments. Running with 272 Discovery with Gold Serpent +3 and Crystal Sage's Rapier offhand. Just run past the ones in front to plunging attack the one in the back from above, then come back around and kite the other 3 one at a time, homeward bone back and repeat. Weapon of choice is Vordt's to stunlock pretty reliabley and get the extra frostbite damage. For anyone who wants armor pieces PSN: xSKIN_N_BONESx

Kinda like the set myself, though not a fan of the hood. Though can mix and match the head piece with a few others. Iron Dragonslayer helmet /kinda/ works with the armor, and Darkwraith mask/helmet works with it pretty well. Anybody else have ideas for a head piece with this set?

Ok set. A bit too edgy for my taste but what only really bothers me is that the menu icons look cheap and are too small compared with other armor pieces icons. Keep the style of art consistent over the DLC. Rule nb 1.

Ive noticed that when using warmth while wearing this armor the symbol on the chest piece emits a warmth glow from within. As long as one is within the warmth glow itself.
Ive yet to test it but perhaps it's a boost to health regeneration from being within the warmth?
It's a really sweet and unique feature to this armor and perhaps there's more to this and as to why a warmth glow appears from within self when equipped with this armor and using the warmth spell.
