Sacred Chime of Filianore is a Weapon in Dark Souls 3. It was added with The Ringed City DLC.



A sacred chime blessed by Princess Filianore, matriarch of the church.

Filianore's favor knows no boundaries, and this sacred chime expands the range of vicinity-affecting miracles that heal, cure, or provide other enhancements.

Skill: Pray for Favor
Works with chime equipped in either left or right hand. Heals HP very slowly for a duration of time. Affects caster and those in vicinity.

 

Notes and Tips:

  • Reinforced with Twinkling Titanite.
  • Pray for Favor works even after the Chime is put away.
  • Has a Spell Buff of 159 at +5 upgrade level and 40 fth.
  • Increases the range of healing Miracles.



Location/Where to Find

  • Given by Shira in The Ringed City when you first speak to her while she is behind the doors at the top of the large steps. Accept her request to kill Darkeater Midir and she will give this.
  • If you talk to Shira, knock Midir off the bridge, then touch Fillianore without returning to Shira then Shira will leave her home. She will now be found on the right of Fillianore's Rest. Defeating her yields you the Sacred Chime of Fillianore, Titanite Slab, and her Shira armour set which is found at her original location. Doing her quest is NOT required since this route makes it impossible to complete.

Parameter Bonus: Strength, Dexterity,Magic, Fire, Lightning and Dark bonuses - The scaling multiplier applied to the [Attack: stat]. Scaling quality is from highest to lowest as follows: S/A/B/C/D/E.The higher the player's [Str, Dex, Mag, Fire, Light] stat, the higher the [Attack Bonus: Stat] is (found on the player status screen). The higher the scaling letter, the higher the percent multiplier applied to the [Attack: Stat].This resulting bonus damage is added to the base physical damage of the weapon and is shown in the equipment screen in blue numbers as a "+ X". 
Durability: The weapon's HP, when the durability hits 0, the effectiveness of its attacks become weakened to the point of almost uselessness. When an items durability is low, a message will come up saying "Weapon At Risk!" at this point the weapon does not perform at it's best.
Weight: How much the item weights when equipped. 
Stability: How well the player keeps stance after being hit
Attack Type: Defines what kind of swing set the weapon has: Regular(R), Thrust(T), Slash(Sl), Strike(St)

      I did a test. The amount of HP healed does not increase as you level it up. I have 53 faith, and 1 chime+0 and 1 chime+4. Their WAs both heal 236 HP.

        BTW doesn't work with Bountiful Light, Tears of Denial or Deep Protection. The WA heal has a range of 1 Backstep.

          It does give quite a significant boost to most support Miracles.
          Med and Great Heal went from 1.5 Backsteps without the Chime up to 3 wiBacksteps with Filianore's Chime.
          Bountiful and Soothing Sunlight and Caressing Tears went from 4 Backsteps up to 6.
          Vow of Silence went from 8 Backsteps up to 9.
          Projected Heals ''explosion'' Radius went from 1 Backstep up to 1.5. (Which is a lot less than it sounds but don't forget the Healing area lingers for a second)
          Sacred Oath went from 1 Backstep up to 3.

          Tested at Firelink Shrine with the Firekeeper in her standing location in the Middle toward Andre and with Andre himself.

            When using this Chime to cast healing/buffing spells with proximity effects, the spell's range is increased dramatically.

              Pray of favor(4hp/s) + gentle prayer(6hp/s) + sun princess ring(2hp/s) + anri's sword(2hp/s) + blessed weapon(2-4hp/s) + bountiful sunlight(10hp/s) = 26-28hp/s
              The shortest lasting buff in this list is the blessed weapon at 45 seconds or gentle prayer if you toggle it off. Lingering can be used for a slower burn.
              Insane amounts of hp regen for pvp, reminds me of mushrooms in Dark Souls 1 The great thing is that all of this can be used in a low SL build easily.

                Check out the aura around Project heal when you cast it with this weapon, makes the aoe a lot more forgiving if you're aim is off by.

                  The fact that its weapon art lasts even after swapping it out makes it a huge benefit for a health regen build.
                  Imagine having a blessed weapon in the right hand, a blessed shield in the left, the Sun Princess ring equipped, and this effect all running at the same time.

                    After playing with this chime, i have uncovered some sort of hidden property.
                    it seems that when you cast denial, there is this cast echo... a given time after you cast denial, you will see an auto cast at your feet, the same circle style as when you had cast denial.
                    it makes a sound too. ATM i have no clue what this does. further testing needed

                      two things i noticed, idk if anyone else posted this already but 1: the aoe is bigger then the "circle" effect when using it and 2: it says 18 fp cost but its actually 50 fp cost (for me atleast, tested without any wonders equipped)

                        I don't know 100% for sure since I haven't used it enough, but the AoE range boost on this chime feels kind of minimal. Maybe plus one body length to radius at most. It definitely won't make your Great Heals as huge as your Bountiful Sunlights, and it won't make your Bountiful Sunlights cover an entire room or anything.

                        The added range is tied to a tiny, additional shockwave that emanates from you after casting. The shockwave is the same color as the miracle being cast, and it's easiest to see when casting Caressing Tears since it's bright white instead of faint gold/yellow.

                          The radius on Projected Heal is also bigger when cast with this chime. Was able to heal an ally during the Darkeater Dragon bossfight, sent out a healing blast across the arena, and it must have landed maybe 10 feet from where he ended up and the wave still hit him and his hp went back to full. :)

                            Given that this thing's WA can heal the caster AFTER it's been put away...

                            Anri's Straightsword +5 = 2 points of HP per tick

                            Ethereal Oak Shield +5 = 2 points of HP per tick

                            Sun Princess Ring = 2 points of HP per second

                            Blessed Weapon/35 Faith/+5 Filianore Cat = 3 points of HP per second

                            Soothing Sunlight = 10 points of HP per second

                            Filianore's WA = 4 points of HP per second

                            2 + 2 + 3 + 10 + 4 = 21 points of HP restored per second. My regen build is gonna love this thing.

                              Did some tests on the healing power of the Sacred Chime of Filianore+5.
                              My charcter has 99 faith, and I am wearing the Morne's ring and Ring of the Sun's First Born. The Spell Buff on the chime is 211. Also my character has 50 Vigor (1689HP when embered). Tested in firelink shrine by killing myself from fall damage with tears of denial.

                              Heal Aid: 317 HP
                              Heal: 635 HP
                              Med Heal: 869 HP
                              Great Heal: 1165 HP
                              Soothing Sunlight: 1483 HP

                              For comparison, here are the numbers with Yorshka's Chime+10, Spell Buff of 263, same two rings.

                              Heal Aid: 395 HP
                              Heal: 791 HP
                              Med Heal: 1081 HP
                              Great Heal: 1450 HP
                              Soothing Sunlight: 1689 HP (a full heal)

                              And then Sunlight Talisman+10, 214 Spell Buff, same two rings

                              Heal Aid: 322 HP
                              Heal: 644 HP
                              Med Heal: 880 HP
                              Great Heal: 1181 HP
                              Soothing Sunlight: 1503 HP

                              So it is a decent amount weaker than Yorshka's and just a bit less than Sunlight, I suppose they did this as the range of the heals is noticably larger. Also note, I tried testing it with the Rose of Ariandel Buff, and the WA does not affect healing miracles, only offensive miracles.
