I like this item not for the duping exploiting pvp aspect, or the fact its a nice little heal with some frost resistance.

If you are just a normal host playing the game who happens to get invaded, you have nothing to worry about. This item is to take care of filthy gankers who think they have skill because they can put a jackhammer on R1.

if you are twinking with maxed estus (which I don't have a problem with), the host doesn't necessarily have more heals than you. especially if they already used some before you invaded. also you can refill estus by killing phantoms. also you can use undead hunter charms.

you know what plays around undead hunter charms? using duped siegbraus, which the host is probably not doing because it's not an intended, normal game mechanic everyone does.

the amount of heals you're given as an invader is determined by fromsoft because they think it makes invasions balanced the way they want them to be. it doesn't have to be balanced the way YOU want it to be. it's hilarious to me that people would dupe items and then justify it/complain about people doing normal stuff you're supposed to do in the game, and about being "honorable." did i mention that these are invasions, not duels? nobody has to follow these stupid made up rules about "honor' in invasions. if you're confident enough to bow and let the host prepare before engaging them and all that, then back it up by actually playing well and not depending on exploits or whining about it! it's your choice to give them extra advantages.

also they're not for sale, not only for the above mentioned reasons, but because they don't want you to have unlimited heals for sale for pve at any point in the game. makes sense to me. you already have plenty of ways to heal.

I think Miyazaki now hates Invaders, thats why Hosts have so many advantages in DS3.
Then there is some dude at Fromsoft that does root for invasions, and sneaks items like these so they can be duped by tryhards.

Just finished NG 5 now going to NG7, I have 34 of there collected, and when ever I invade I take a save back up so I dont lose them on ganks and resummoning casuls, keep dreaming. Go cry about actual cheaters like unscaled and bow glitchers.

The amount of salty people that hate losing to invaders is sad. I personally prefer to be a sunbro and help people but summons and invaders have a heal disadvantage over a host. A host has on average 10-15 estus heals, while an invader or summon has 5-7 estus heals (normally 5-6 if they want 1-2 FP flasks. Siegbraus heal roughly half of an estus. So at max 7 estus' plus 10 siegbraus (equals about half an estus chug or 5 estus' total) gives roughly the equivalent of 12 estus' heals for any invader/summon if they use all of them on a single PVP session. Currently to get 10 you need to beat the game on new game +. The fact that consumables disappear in invasions and summons is the real travesty.

The only comments people should be making is why they hell these are not purchasable.

Not so random fact: You can get 1 more divine blessing per NG minimum. Possibly infinite DB's more if I'm reading the Swamp Judicator correctly. Remember to block cheaters after you beat them! Let all the heal canceling, bow glitch using, 10x siegbrau chugging cheaters play against only each other. Let them ruin their own fun.

Really great for mages and pyromancers because you can just allot your estus to ashen and stick to these bad boys for HP. Better than having to balance out between piss poor estus allotment in PvP.

I have no problem with invaders who cheat in a bunch of these when their invasions consist of dancing the night away with gank squads. What disgusts me is coming across invaders who shamelessly chug these in a 1v1 with cheated twink gear pre abyss watchers. Seriously, what are they even doing with their lives?

The amount of invaders that hack this item is insane. If someone is chugging siegbrau like there is no tommorrow , 100% a hacker. You can't even get 10 of this item in one play trough, not even with dlc.

I don't understand why Siegward feels the need to make estus into alchohol (or how he does so either...), but couldn't he just raid some of the various cellars and containers laying around for a pint to drink? I mean some of these buggers we fight in the later parts of the game SEEM like they were once civilized enough to make alcohol, and must have something laying around... wouldn't taste so great due to how old it might be, but if the goal is to get drunk to drown their sorrows, then it should give the same effect right? besides NPC's always seem to find stuff that the players can never find, at least implied due to Greirat magically producing his wares from somewhere from some areas we send him to pillage.

For me it healed 360 out of 1300 HP (~28%), so after reading all comments I conclude it heals about 20-30% and added so.

If you get the slab ("treasure") Lapp tells you about in Earthen Peak without dying/quitting/warping more than three or four times, Lapp will give you a Siegbrau and congratulate you. The Siegbrau listed here as 'sitting in Earthen Peak after you beat the Demon Prince' is only there if you fail to get the treasure in time and Lapp does the work for you. This is the Siegbrau that he would normally give to you.

During Lapp's questline, he will give you one of these. Kind of odd getting it from someone that isn't Siegward. A way to explain this is that Lapp is Patches (there is legitimate and very obvious proof in the game that Lapp is Patches), and may have stolen one of these off Siegward when he was stealing his armor.

Drinking these looks exactly like chugging Estus, down to the green glass jar. They basically act as extra Estus uses aside from their extreme rarity. Of course, seeing as they're basically extra Estus they'd make the game almost too easy if you could carry more around.

So i drank the first one because i didn't think i would need it and i didn't know Siegward was trapped at the fountain so i just kept playing. Problem is : after i rescued him from the fountain he still didn't appear in the kitchen, however, he appeared in the cell, where i freed him from, but he didn't give me soegbrau... any other way to get it ?
