Like other stances, you get to choose between 2 moves to execute: A wide slash that shoots a somewhat short ranged magic projectile, and a stab that's similar to shield splitter but doesn't seem to be particularly effiicient against those. Also using either of these moves buffs your blade with (100 flat?) magic damage, tested at NG+ against the Silver Knights at Anor Londo with 40 Strength, 40 dex 13 int and an unrefined weapon. The regular attack does 97 damage without and 197 with the buff.
