god the ds 3 wiki is soooo messy omg

like in the elden ring wiki I rarely catch a mistake, but here it's like every second page

The poise is perfect for support miracles during co-op, whether healing or buffing invaders will struggle to knock you out of the animation (especially if you have heavy armour) with things like LKS, PKCS and SSTB. Been making life difficult for invaders on my Solaire build and damn does it feel good.

lo malo de este talisman es que el talisman de santo es mejor aunque este te sirve mientras no consigues el otro

"At 60 FTH with +10 it has a spellbuff of 203."

"At 60 FTH with +10 it has a spellbuff of 173"
            WHICH IS IT?!?!?

i don't care if the saint's has more damage, or the canvas has more damage and good poise, i don't use this for poise, i use it for solaire, R.I,P sunbro, be one with the sun...

Best talisman for pvp. Spell damage doesnt matter if they can knock you out of your spell before you cast it.

                • Anonymous

Some weapons or enemies(ex. Outrider knights) have higher poise damage. This talisman is solution to this. But you still have to watch out for outrider knights. They can still stun you with 2 hits.

Am I the only person who remembers that Solaire DIDN'T have "unwavering faith?" Over the course of DkS 1, he becomes extremely depressed and even goes hollow if the Chosen Undead (the player) doesn't save him. I feel like FromSoft saying this talisman was his has more to do with fan service than lore. To be clear, I haven't played DkS 2 yet. If the Knight of Sunlight is actually someone else, please forgive my ignorance.

                    • Tried to cast a buffed Lightning Stake with the regular Talisman and got interrupted by a Large Serpent-man's running attack. Came back to test and one-shot the beast through the same attack with this boy.

I love the idea that they put a talisman with infinite poise in for lore purposes. Wish it had more damage though. Is it true it gives sunlight spear a hidden boost?

                        • Anonymous

Lvl 120 Solaire build, 60 fth, +10 lightning caestus, +10 (yeah oops but too late now) sunlight talisman. Talisman in left, punchglove on right. Two hand gloves and use hyper armor to smack them and get them used to your punches. Roll away at some time while switching to 1 handed caestus, poise cast sunlight spear when they run up to trade. It's been incredibly effective, at least until I run into a build that twoshots me. Gotta remember to take that dusk ring off for pvp.

Does this buff sunlight spear's damage? Please don't just say "no" if you're just assuming, only answer if you've tested it.

Don't waste a slab on either this or the canvas talisman if you just want the spell buff. The spell buff maxes out at +9

This talisman deals more damage than any other talismans when using offensive spells.
                                The best talisman for PvP.

Only thing that can break your poise is headshots, afaik. First time I got knocked out of unfaltering prayer with sunlight tali was from the weapon art on onikiri and ubadachi(sp?). I was so confused I just stood there for a second not sure what happened. Then I died.

                                  • Did the hyper armor on it get nerfed? I've never had my guard broken using it before. I haven't used my faith build in awhile though and just had it broken with an Oni-Slayer. I find that strange considering that's normally a kill shot for me when they try to use that against it. I find it even stranger that in the fight just before that I tanked through a DSGA weapon art that did over 1000 damage to me for a kill shot. Did something get changed or was it just a fluke?

Idk why I tried in every hands, holding it with both hands but it just does NOT work. I'm a lvl 227 pure mage. Anyone have an idea why it doesn't work ?

                                      • Anonymous

Point blank, my Sunlight Spear with all intended attack buffs and thanks to the hyperarmor this gives instead of a chime, kills any player instantly. It tanks through the hits, and allows you to deal "counter" damage, and attack buffs increase the lightning damage to a fatal level.

After casting the weapon skill for this talisman do you get the hyper armor effect when casting from another talisman?

Who gives a ***** about stats when you have the ability to carry a peice of one of your oldest friends with you to the end, to honor his memory above all else, that is why people will carry this talisman with them, because a fond memory will always be better and more comforting than an effective tool that you feel no conection to, so I will bring this and the sunlight straight with me to the end of the game, no matter the hardships I face doing so, I will collect and carry a piece of each of the champions and companions from the first linking of the flame with me for no reason other than to honor the memory of my fallen friends, and have them help me light the fire once more from beyond ash and ember. For I will not allow time turning these heroic legends who sacrificed themselves for a champion to link the fire to have their legacies tarnished and forgotten, lost to the passing of ages.

                                            • Anonymous

At no point is this better than any talisman or chime outside of the fast-casting Saint-Tree. Why does it even exist when it's farther in the game than most of the talismans/chimes?

                                              • Anonymous

An additional column should be added for the "Spell Buff" stat, since it gets changed when upgrading now and then.
