Yorshka's Chime is a Weapon in Dark Souls 3.

A sacred chime belonging to Yorshka. Her brother, the former knight captain, presented her with this medium together with another gift: her name.
The ringing of the chime must have done much to soothe her loneliness.

Skill: Gentle Prayer
Recovers HP for a period of time, albeit extremely slowly. Works while equipped in either hand.

Notes and Tips:

  • Cannot be Infused or Buffed.
  • Reinforced with Titanite.
  • After 49 Faith, this Chime has the highest Spell Buff.
  • At 55 Faith and 18 Strength this Chime has a Spell Buff of 228 (Source)
  • The chime has to remain active in your hand for the weapon art to continue regenerating health.
  • At 60 FTH it has a spellbuff of 247.

I have no attachment to this NPC. I talk to her for all of 5 seconds to turn in covenant items. Barely any dialogue or reason to care about her. Easiest NPC kill in the game.

      • 13 May 2017 01:29

Could someone more savvy than me remove the bleed aux from the upgrade table? It has a 100 critical modifier (which it cannot take advantage of because it's a chime), NOT a 100 bleed aux. That would be obscene.

        • 05 May 2017 00:31

Makes you wish they had kept the Blue Eye Orbs. I want to punish the guilty not play a glorified babysitter. And those with this chime would get it extra hard.

I think it's a another test. Are you willing to even sacrifice a basicaly child to become more powerfull. I never killed her but I just realise that it is not much different from betraying Anri who trusted you completly or damn the world by robbing the flame for the Dark Lord ending. If you plan to get that ending and roleplay as the Dark Lord as*h*le anyway it would make sense to kill her I think. Just another nail in the coffin for the world. And just to make that clear: I argue here from a roleplay perspective. It's not about the damn chime. Maybe that helps people to get over with it, move on and start NG+ asap to see her again. This time then as the knight in shining armor and not as the rotten betrayer you would be anyway. If you kill her or not.

Did some spell buff testing at different levels of Faith on the Yorshka's Chime +10

              50 Faith: 209
              60 Faith: 247
              70 Faith: 251
              80 Faith: 255
              85 Faith: 257
              90 Faith: 260
              95 Faith: 262
              99 Faith: 263

Honestly, I don't like killing NPC characters in general, even less if they're friendly and innocent, I prefer to always keep the killboard as empty as it is possible in the game, but I am definitely a completionist, so I'll do the same as I did with Crossbreed Priscilla: I'll kill her, then feel remorse for it, then remember that this is a game, and serve her in NG+.

I love it that it said "Min STR req is 3". You can't have less than 7. I think the person who coded that was the same person who said it would be a good idea to make us have to kill Yorshka (on of the 3 ppl I actually like in this game) to get the best chime. Now that I think about it, it might also be the one who broke Darkmoon Cov, removed poise, and made the game (pvp at least) generally far less fun.

                  • 01 Nov 2016 22:29

Here's a big WOOSH! for all the noobs that don't get the intended humor behind killing Yorshka for the chime after grinding out the darkmoon covenant's maximum rank.

                    • 25 Oct 2016 20:41

Funny enough, after leveling the Darkmoon blades offline, this felt like a genuine good reward to get.

                      A damn good reward.
                      Damn damn good.

                      Just good.
                      Really good....

                      Them faith stats tho...hmpf!

                      • Cleric NPCs in DS series04 Oct 2016 22:28

Every cleric in this series is somehow screwed up. Greedy DS1 fat guy, Lucia* girl in DS2. So the game wants to make you one too.

                        • Proof that From knew covenants were broken on day 112 Sep 2016 05:59

It's like Miyazaki is saying, "Welp, we totally screwed up the whole Blades of the Darkmoon covenant thing. Let's at least give everybody something if they do what we should have done at the beginning and get rid of our main glaring defect for us."
