It's like the PKCS with a more fun weaponart. It's not quite as long, but has a much longer hitbox than it appears

Fast and damaging weapon, available to anyone willing to invest a little bit into it.

Scales extremely well with any elemental infusion and sharp infusion.

Only downside is very short reach of your attacks, but speed makes up for it. Rewards proper spacing.

I don't know if it's just me or something but I get S in Dex at +6 sharp, when from this table it says you'll get A.

Wonderful weapon for my light-roll pirate build; 20 Vit (15 +5 from Prisoner's Chain) with Chain, Havel's Bling +3, and Fapper +3 gives me room for Scimitar, Iron Round Shield, and a ROSP +3 to help balance the Chain's defense penalty (adds 5% physical absorption in PVP).

Armour is: Ragged Mask, Antiquated Ornate Garb, Slave Knight Gauntlets and Leggings. Fashion and function is great to have, especially with a weapon as stylish and strong as the Scimitar <3

Superb weapon. Minimal stat requirements, but great scaling on physical infusions as well as elemental infusions make this a jack of all trades fast curved sword that every build can use. It may not outrange PKCS but on certain builds it will certainly outdamage. 10/10 would recommend

This weapon is so busted it's banned in a lot of PvP tournaments. If someone who knows what they're doing hits you with this once, you can't do anything but watch your character die.

Superb Dex weapon when Sharp Infused. Lighting fast strikes and decent crowd control. Isn't stuck with dagger or caestus's wimpy reach. This was my primary weapon through my entire Dex run, with the Lothric Knight Long Spear as a backup for certain situations.

The design for this weapon is ugly, they made the handle too long, so it can be two handed I guess. But IRL these weapons were not used 2 handed, like the dagger, which looks so dumb two handing.

The scimitar is hopeless against anything with poise or a shield. The longsword can bust shields, out range it with pokes, and break poise in 2 to 3 hits. But it's still fun when I'm not getting demolished.

as weird as it may sound, my current meta is actually a +10 sharp scimitar buffed with crystal magic weapon and up to 40 dexterity levels, i know its a very low meta, but its for PvE, not PvP, and you also have to consider that my other options are either sellsword twinblades and pontiff knight curved swords, and i just sold the only sellsword twinblades from road of sacrifices, and pkcs cannot be buffed or infused and also is extremely difficult to upgrade it to +10 because its upgraded via twinkling titanite, so basically the only still-available option is scimitar, and its actually pretty good at PvE when at +10, sharp-infused with 40 or 50 dexterity and buffed with crystal magic weapon

The tables aren't correct. My +10 scimitar with 26dex/40/40 fth int has # EAAA scaling. I'm bringing dex up to 40 and it already has higher than 520 AR. That's insane for such a light weapon. Running R1, Strong attack into backflip slash and finish with spell of choice. Good luck living through that!

No matter how hard I look, I can't find a better weapon than Crystal Scimitar +10 for my pure sorcery build... Strength req is only 7, weight is only 2.5... I've fully upgraded the shotel and the shortsword with crystal infusions and the scimitar still beats them out. I rarely use my sword so it's nice to have something in the dagger weight range so I can wear decent armor and still get a fast roll.

Holy***** this weapon is a beast. Now what are the flaws with curved swords? - low to average damage - pathetic range -most of the R2’s can only work as a mediocre mixup every once in a while. -sometimes difficult to exert pressure. Now, what the pros? -really fast -low stamina -consumption -safe on whiff most of the time - absurd punish game - R O L L I S B A D N O W. and that’s all it needs

I really lyke this weapons moveset and appearance but no matter how I look at it, the carthus curved sword is just much better. I would much rather use this one but the carthus has much higher base damage, a bleed auxiliary, and higher range, compared to the scimitar having... slightly better scaling and thats it.*sigh*

I have spent hours doing pvp with this weapon on my dex/int. Buff build and it is just amazing. It has a great scaling and a great moveset.

Great dexterity scaling, very fast two handed R1. If you have the discipline not to spam, this is a deadly weapon against pretty much anything in pvp. I've been invading with it for the last 6 hours and I only failed to kill 3 targets. Most of these people are running around with dark swords too.Wouldn't be surprised if it got nerfed to be honest. But of course people would have to notice it first and I've literally never seen anyone else using one.
