Brass Set is an Armor in Dark Souls 3. It was originally worn by the Darkmoon Knightess from the first Dark Souls.
Armor of a knight once known as the Darkmoon. It is said that this brass armor hides something hideous within.
Something about its silhouette suggests femininity.
Location/Where to Find
- Found in the Darkmoon Tomb. (after Pontiff but before Anor Londo. See Irithyll of the Boreal Valley for walkthrough) Hit the stone statue of Lord of Cinder to reveal the Illusory Wall.
Notes and Tips
- This set belongs to Lady of the Darkling, a firekeeper and a Blade of the Darkmoon, from Dark Souls 1.

Very nice defense/armor weight ratio
This Set + Pontiff Knight's Crown + Profaned Sword + Golden Eagle Shield on your back = Drippiest Set in the game
Although this set is mainly for female characters, try this set with Chain Helm+Carthus Curved Sword+Stone Parma on a males and thank me later.. ✌️
cool set but pretty far in the game
This set is very knightly, i love it, i can use this to play a knight cosplay
i put on this set when i first met aldrich cuz them magic attacks hurt alot
Best set for sorcerer builds who want good physical defences, plus it nullifies the lowering magic resistance effect of the crown of dusk.
big ass helm
Looks excellent with cathedral knight helmet.
Good for going up against Aldrich if you have at least some vitality.
Amazing set if your going for the "paladin" look. Drop the helmet if necessary
So what's the lore behind this armour, what's the hideous thing it hides?
This set + Crescent axe and a red haired boy = Escanor
Only problem I have with this set is that is goes like oil and water with any other piece of armor, so mixing and matching is heavily restricted if you don't want to look like a colorblind clown.
This is great for hiding my hideous visage.
the armour is so good
Tassets are *****ing huge, but a pretty good looking armor nonetheless.
I was cosplaying as Lautrec in Anor Londo and ran across a fellow invader, who, upon seeing me, equipped a Darkmoon Knightess cosplay. It made my day! :D
(special thanks to YouTuber "ThePruld" for introducing me to this ship)
I love this Set in combination with Profaned Greatsword and Shield of Want!
i wore this until i found the wolf knight set
When was she known as the "Darkmoon"? Not in DS1 that's for sure. God these translaters...
pretty good for the aldrich fight
What other weapon looks attractive with this? I tried Black blade, and parrying dagger, but want to know other possibilities.
Solid defense at a fair weight.
I love how this armor set looks but if you dont wear a helmet the chestpiece looks really strange... Which sucks for me since I really lyke seeing my characters face.Maybe its just me who thynks it looks wyrd without a helmet but to me it just looks oddly bulky, lyke my characters face is too small in proportion to the rest of them.
replace the helm with the bandit's headger, and you have a golden arab knight
i use this as fashion souls. good performance though.
I played DS1 and i never noticed this armor set. Saw someone wearing it in a gank squad and was completely dumbfounded. I have the platinum and didnt know this exists!
So glad to see this set make it as part of the number of Dark Souls 1 tribute armor sets! It was my favorite the first time I ever played through :')
