Where to Find Chloranthy Ring

  • Found in Undead Settlement. Start from the Road Of Sacrifices Bonfire and backtrack to the lift that will take you up. Once you do, hit the switch again to allow it to go down, then you can ride it farther up to meet the Giant who shoots the arrows at you. Take the same lift back down and jump halfway, this is where you can find Siegward just outside of the inner part of the tower and help him in defeating the demon. After defeating the fire demon, use the staircase of the house on the right. From there use a bridge to enter the house on the left. Go through some enemies until you've passed two Evangelists. You're on the roof now. Go left and run across the roof until you've reached the wooden platform. From here you'll see a stone tower, drop off a ledge to reach the tower. Enter the tower through a door and make use of the beams and platforms within the tower to reach the ground floor safely. You'll find the ring on the ground floor beneath some wooden crates. • +1 Version (NG+) Behind the pedestal with the Ring of the Sun's First Born. ()
  • +2 Version (NG++) From the Road of Sacrifices bonfire, head past the wagon and to the left of the crow mage there's a ledge that you can drop down to that has the ring. () (video location)
  • +3 Version (The Ringed City): Ringed Inner wall Bonfire Route: Take the lift down from the Ringed Inner Wall bonfire. This is the shortcut and will be unlocked as you progress this area. As you go down look for the side passage and roll onto it as you go. Find the hole and drop down to the statue of Gwyn to find this ring. (Video Location)
  • +3 Version (The Ringed City): Shared Graves Bonfire Route: From the Shared Grave Bonfire follow the path up past the bridge and into the Church. Take a left up the stairs. On the right theres should be an invisible wall/ path to an elevator. Take it up and on your right is a alcove you roll/walk into. Make a right from there and fall through the hole and pick up the Ring. (Video Location)

Even the +3 version feels useless everytime I replay ds3. Use your phone to record the stamina bar without the ring and use the share button record/replay to record with the ring. Compare the two and decide for yourself...

when dropping into the tower at full health, 10 vitality, and 48% equipload, I died to fall damage. anyone know if i need to level up vitality to make the drop?

IDK how idiots think its bad, but what you want is the faster recovery from being in negative stamina, even if youre a god at this game it happens from time to time, and having no stamina means you ded.

It stacks with Grass Crest Shield, but are there numbers regarding how they go when stacked? Do they just add together, or are there diminishing returns?

            • 11/45 ~ 0.244 ~ 25% = 1/4 = 5/20 increase in stamina regeneration from the +3 version. Powerful for any build. Good in particular to compensate for a small stamina pool. 7/45 ~ 15.6 ~ 15% = 3/20 increase from the +0 isn't bad either. Yes, I rounded to every fifth integer because I think it is easier to get an idea on how much that is; we don't see 16% sale in the stores, we see 15%.

is it really "good" to boost your stamina regen into oblivion? Kicking "stamina management" into the trashcan? Nothing against using it, we have to if we want to have a fair chance, simple as that. But if a +3 variant should exist in the first place.

It seems as if the green aura for stamina regen was removed from this ring recently. No more need to remove the ring whenever you are using the obscuring ring. Yay!

+3 Version (The Ringed City): Take the lift down from the Ringed City Streets bonfire. This is the shortcut and will be unlocked as you pregress this area. As you go down look for the side passage and roll onto it as you go. Find the hole and drop down to the statue of Gwyn to find this ring. ()

Incorrect, the correct bonfire is the Ringed Inner Wall

Kindav sad really. Anyone who has the dlc can bypass the need to go into NG+ or ++ for the better versions of the ring. Unless im mistaken and this ring has a cycle requirement, which doesnt seem to be listed

Useful for recovering stamina to do a dodge if you accidentally go into the negative in pvp and definitely helps lower stamina builds that would rather increase other stats.

The ring also lowers the amount of time you can't regen stamina when your deplete it after an attack. Hell, stamina recovery speed might directly correlate with this, which could be huge.

it raises your regen by 7 stamina per seond not 7% the base regen is about 45 per second this makes the normal ring 15%, the +1 17%, and the +2 20%

Try using it on a Low % build, I mean under 30% weight load, it seems that the effect on stamina regen is more potent on a character who's weight load already brings fast stamina recovery.I just tested the timing to recover all stamina (At 100 stamina just to make it easy to work numbers) on a 29.9% weight build.WITHOUT Chloranthy Ring -3.2 seconds.WITH Chloranthy Ring -2.4 seconds.Would help if someone could test on a high weight build with and without? Maybe somewhere like 50% and 70% for testings sake, I only have one more rebirth with Rosaria and I want my proper build back after this test. x'D

                              • Compared to DS2 12.5%, 20% and 25% per upgrade this seems rather weak. My bet this ring won't be as mandatory for melee builds as it was in DS2. I'\d suggest swap it out for something else, especially given equip load below 70% has all the same stamina regen speed. Ran my tests at 3% and 68% load with 146 stamina total - my stamina bar took 3.9 sec to regen in both cases, while above 70% it seemed to take about 4+ sec. This ring effectively reduced regen time by 0.4 sec to 3.5 sec to regen full bar. For comparison Grass Crest Shield gave reduction of 0.3 sec down to 3.6 sec, and together they gave 3.2 sec, which adds up.+1 and +2 increase by 1% each, which is miniscule, so you will see very little difference between grades. For me 0.4 sec is not enough difference to consider using this ring (while in DS2 it's benefit was MASSIVE), so I will be swapping it out of my build for something more useful.RoFaP (Ring of Favor now) seems to be a better option if you want more stamina, as it provides bigger pool and has also really good side benefits in form of health and carry weight (which is much harder to come by now, as it is flat progression of 1 unit per level) if you care for those. Will re-test it once I'm done investing levels into stamina (I plan to go till softcap), to see how much different it will be with bigger stamina pool, but frankly I don't think it will make that much difference to make this ring worth your ring slot.

From the tower you met Siegward the first time through the burning village. Follow the way until the rooftop. From their you can jump to the near tower. Inside of it jump down. There you can find the Ring.
