Eastern Armor Set is an Armor in Dark Souls 3.
Distinctive armor made in an Eastern land.
The exquisite craftmanship and artistic design made these prized pieces in the collection of any nobleman.
Offers excellent damage absorption, particularly from slashing attacks from katanas, which are commonly encountered threats in battles fought in the East.
Location/Where to Find
- Bought from Shrine Handmaid in Firelink Shrine for 23,000 souls after giving her the Easterner's Ashes found in Irithyll of the Boreal Valley, beneath the Silver Knights.
Notes and Tips
- The armor once belonged to Shiva of the East, a character from the original Dark Souls.

I don't know how this is still wrong but this set doesn't have the highest bleed resistance, the exile set does.

Helmet is pretty dumb. I suggest using Old's sage blindfold, Cornyx's wrap and Ordained trousers for awesome Samurai look.

This set + blood bite ring = Bloodlust build where you don't proc bleed using the WA.

Actually, the exile set has higher bleed resist. 39 helm, 97 armor,33 gauntlets, and 57 leggings.

Why, for the love of Souls, couldn't they just make this armour set with a kabuto and tekko? This wierd lion cage helmet thing looks more Chinese that Japanese to me and then there's the gloves... The gloves are sooo stupid. What kind of idiot goes into battle without arm protection!? I suppose they just didn't want people to start hating on the game because it has the "audacity" to include Japanese themed weapons and armour into a world mostly inspired by Medieval Europe, but c'mon! At least give me a jingasa or sugegasa so that I can get some decent fashion souls with a katana build.
Seeing European knights wielding katana just makes me cringe as a history enthusiast...

Who else is slightly annoyed that the gloves look different to those in DS1? They push the armoured sleeve up in this version, whereas in DS1, it stayed down, and the glove was layered on top

Dat bleed and slash resistance doe. This really IS an anti-katana set. Of all of the armour-sets that have confirmed stats as of this post, this set seems to have the absolute highest bleed resist, even beating out sets that weigh twice as much.
