Follower Shield is a Shield in Dark Souls 3. It is part of the Ashes of Ariandel DLC.

Standard shield used by the Farron Followers. Crafted with wood and reinforced with metal.

Imbued with a faint resistance to the Abyss.

Skill: Weapon Skill

Equipping this shield in the left hand allows one to perform the Skill of the right hand weapon.

Notes and Tips:

Can be Buffed and Infused.
Has relatively high Dark damage reduction, recommended to infuse with Deep Gem.
Provides 78.0% Dark damage reduction at +10 Deep Gem infusion.

Location/Where to Find

Looted from Snowy Mountain area in the Painted World of Ariandel. From the Snowy Mountain Pass bonfire, run up the incline past the 2 follower enemies, there should be a fallen tree above them. From there continue going up the right hand incline until you see the bell in the snow. There should be a follower enemy with a torch on your left hand side, go left until you see the cliff and make a left. There should be a corpse blocked by a torch follower.

Parameter Bonus: Strength, Dexterity,Magic, Fire, Lightning and Dark bonuses - The scaling multiplier applied to the [Attack: stat]. Scaling quality is from highest to lowest as follows: S/A/B/C/D/E.The higher the player's [Str, Dex, Mag, Fire, Light] stat, the higher the [Attack Bonus: Stat] is (found on the player status screen). The higher the scaling letter, the higher the percent multiplier applied to the [Attack: Stat].This resulting bonus damage is added to the base physical damage of the weapon and is shown in the equipment screen in blue numbers as a "+ X".
Durability: The weapon's HP, when the durability hits 0, the effectiveness of its attacks become weakened to the point of almost uselessness. When an items durability is low, a message will come up saying "Weapon At Risk!" at this point the weapon does not perform at it's best.
Weight: How much the item weights when equipped.
Stability: How well the player keeps stance after being hit
Attack Type: Defines what kind of swing set the weapon has: Regular(R), Thrust(T), Slash(Sl), Strike(St)

  This is the lightest shield you can use to get 100 stability using great magic shield. If you prefer partying, use the iron round shield for 97 stability when paired w/GMS.

  Added missing Values for damage absorption and stability for Regular, Heavy, Sharp, Refined, and Raw infusions. Also added the Str requirments to wield the shield to the entire table.

  Wargod wooden shield has higher stats, except -3 magic protection. It's found in the pit of hollows after fighting rotten greatwood. Recommend that more.

  Highly recommended for Deep infusion, which provides 76.0% Physical and 78.0% Dark damage reduction, which is not bad for a weapon skill shield.

  This shield is amazing for great magic shield due to its somewhat light weight due to the lack of 100% block. With great magic shield it blocks everything.

  Starting stability is a bit low at 55, but upgrading it to +9 (No gains past this) gives it 67 stability, an incredibly improvement. Lack of 100% reduction though. Unsure if the text implies it has hidden properties, or the fact it just has above average dark resist.
  Very good for its weight and stat requirements, but only when upgraded. No 100% reduction is up to you if it's worth it.

  From the Snowy Mountain Pass bonfire . just keep to the left and you will find a small drop with an enemy below . and the follower shield can be found there
