Golden Falcon Shield is a Shield in Dark Souls 3.

A metal shield fashioned in the form of a falcon with wings outstretched.

The golden falcon was the emblem of an ancient band of sellswords, and even to this day, many mercenaries remain who look upon it as a token of good fortune.

Repel an attack at the right time to follow up with a critical hit. Works while equipped in either hand.

Notes and Tips:

Can be Infused.
Reinforced with Titanite.
Provides an average damage block of 40%. While very low, it does sport the second highest stability of small shields, tied with the Llewellyn Shield and second to the Eastern Iron Shield.
It was used by the Falconers of Volgen mercenary knights referenced in Dark Souls 2.

Location/Where to Find

Located on a ledge near the ladder leading to the lower swamp in Road of Sacrifices. Accessed by dropping down from the building above, but can also be reached from below by jumping up the rocks at the end of the ledge/path.

Scaling quality is from highest to lowest as follows: S/A/B/C/D/E.The higher the player's [Str, Dex, Mag, Fire, Light] stat, the higher the [Attack Bonus: Stat] is (found on the player status screen). The higher the scaling letter, the higher the percent multiplier applied to the [Attack: Stat].This resulting bonus damage is added to the base physical damage of the weapon and is shown in the equipment screen in blue numbers as a "+ X".
Durability: The weapon's HP, when the durability hits 0, the effectiveness of its attacks become weakened to the point of almost uselessness. When an items durability is low, a message will come up saying "Weapon At Risk!" at this point the weapon does not perform at it's best.
Weight: How much the item weights when equipped.
Stability: How well the player keeps stance after being hit
Attack Type: Defines what kind of swing set the weapon has: Regular(R), Thrust(T), Slash(Sl), Strike(St)

  I don’t care about its stability. I don’t care about its absorptions. I wear cuz I need it. Dragonslayer spear + this little baby + any golden-themed armor makes your enemies die all by themselves by sheer power of your FASHION.

  Love this shield even if its block % is the equivalent of a wet paper bag, just looks so nice and has high stability.

  I use it only for Fashion Souls. I wear it on my back and never use it..
  Looks even better in combination with the Buff from the Rose of Ariandel... I have completed the game 12 times and feel like I deserve to be a golden, shiny Warrior-Queen:)

  This item makes me think the Iron Round Shield's stats are unintentional, as if Fromsoft screwed up and meant to make that shield 3.0 weight or something. This shield weighs .5 more than the Iron Round Shield, with basically no advantage -- it blocks some elements slightly better, but not nearly enouogh to matter, and it has lower stability. So why does it weigh more?

  Don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but I've been using this shield extensivly since I got it and it seems to have a hidden ability that increase luck. The most shocking thing that has happened so far was that I used it in Anor londo, and after three silver knight kills I had 3/4 armour pieces and one proof of concord kept.
  Another example was in the dungeons, where the Jailer's dropped the Soldering Iron like it was a common drop. After running through the whole thing I had 4 of them. Usually I'm lucky if I get one.
  Just wanted to put that out there.

  If I upgrade a shield to +10 would the physical guard absorption increase? I would love to use this shield endgame but at 59 physical absorption is pathetic :/
