One of my favorite shields in this game. Stability similar to a greatshield, high magic defense and can parry. It also looks really cool.

This is the shield to manage the Nameless King. Just don't let him guard break you through appropriate stamina management and circle strafe - easy.

Was fighting in the arena, practicing shield pokes, matched up with a guy in a normal non try-hard duel. He was using LKSS & an Iron round shield. I was able to get better trades and outreach him with my spear, but around 1/5th health he switched to a dagger, still not trying too hard. I switched 2h my Lothric Shield, got one normal attack in, then finished him with a heavy attack while he was 4ft away. Funny AF, & made my night. GG Froki

Those Lothric Knights are an excellent source of souls and item drops early in the game. They drop embers, knight crossbows, their sword, their shield, and even titanite. I took the time to level up to around 34 before fighting Vordt, just from grinding/farming the area. It's so worth it.

why does it have high lightning resistance if they were dragon slayers? shouldn't it have high fire resistance? unless they were fighting lightning dragons, this is some a$$ backwards logic

I feel that this is just Bandai Namco’s way of trolling the player base where the shield doesn’t match up correctly to the characters body proportion.

I know this thing is single-handedly keeping Lightning Arrow-spamming builds in check, but does anyone else wish From reserved extremely good damage reduction to greatshields, at least to give tanky builds some relevance? There's two mediums shields, BKS and LKS, that do just as good a job as the infused greatshields for like half the investment. Give infused Greatshields a cap at like 90-95%, medium shields at 75-80%, balance out the narrow stability differences between the two (there's hardly a difference despite the ~10 Unit weight gap and huge STR requirements), and put the poise-cast of Lightning Arrow on a 3/4-second timer rather than indefinitely.

Fave shield in the game, only slightly less stability than the bk shield and it can parry. Also alot of people never expect you to parry with this so they'll just spam you, allowing for ez setups!

Starting at +9, Great Magic Shield causes 0 stamina loss

95% lightning absorption on lightning infused +9, sunlight spear to the face on faith build deals 30 damage if not less while blocking, counter to people who love to spam lightning arrow.

I don't think they purposely infused their shields with lightning absorption. Judging from the Sunlight Alter in the castle, they were simply blessed with the power of Sunlight, kinda the same situation with Dragonslayer Ornstein's armor.

Perfect medium shield for using Greater Magic Shield on. Capped resistances and 100 stability, 0 stamina loss on block. Plus parry, if you can get used to it!

It says that they have contended with the dragons but we all know that the only lightning breathing dragons were all wiped out during the age of ancients so how do they fight something that is already extinct? Only a very small amount of Drakes breath out lightning but most Drakes and Wyverns breath out fire so is it possible that the Lothric Knights actually mistook Drakes for Dragons?

The Black Knight shield has better stability and is slightly heavier. This is a good shield you can get early on in the game.

if enemies stopped constantly shield bashing with stadard and parry shields-.- i know was surprising at first,but since every shield wielding enemy shield basshes like there is a championship for it, t grew old very very fast

At max this shield has what I believe is the second best stability of any standard shield at 66%, has a decent weight of 6.0, and fantastic lightning defense. I wish it's it's magic and fire resistance were at 60% at least though.
