Proof of a Concord Kept Usage
- Blades of the Darkmoon tribute item, used to increase rank in the Covenant
- Covenant tribute items are not tradable between players
Proof of a Concord Kept Locations
- Reward for defeating invaders when defending a Way of Blue member as a Blue Sentinel or Blade of Darkmoon. The item is given each time an invader is banished rather than when you are sent home, so for farming you may want to keep one invader alive to stay in the world.
- If the invader uses the Black Separation Crystal, a Proof of a Concord Kept is not awarded
- If the host challenges the area boss to banish the invader, a Proof of a Concord Kept is awarded
- If the dark spirit is killed by another player, a Proof of a Concord Kept is awarded. However, if the dark spirit kills themselves (i.e jumping off a cliff/ledge), a Proof will not be awarded.
- Extremely rare drop from Silver Knights in Anor Londo and Irithyll of the Boreal Valley (1%)
- One is located on a corpse, in front of the altar at the Church of Yorshka bonfire in Irithyll of the Boreal Valley
- One is located on a corpse in Anor Londo by the Clerics on the left hand side stairs
- Two are obtained by gaining and consuming a single Proof of a Concord Well Kept, which is rewarded for each killing of an Aldritch Faithful invader. The victorious Blue Spirit must be in the Blades of the Darkmoon covenant (their sin status is irrelevant)
How to farm Proof of a Concord Kept Guide
- Get the Gold Serpent ring (+50 discovery), or better if you can get the Gold Serpent ring +3 version (+125 discovery)
- Get the Symbol of Avarice (+100 discovery)
- Get the Crystal Sage Rapier (+50). The weapon needs to be in hand to take effect, you can test this by looking at the item discovery in stats screen. Wielding a second Crystal Sage Rapier will boost item discovery even further.
- (Optional) Infusing a weapon with a Hollow Gem boosts your luck by up to 5 points depending on your level of hollowing
- (Optional) Reallocate attributes at Rosaria with as much luck as possible (40 or more). Remember to have at least 5 tongues to reallocate back after.
- Get plenty of Rusty Coins from Patches the Unbreakable or kill him for his ashes
- If you use all the items you can get over 375 item discovery (or 445 with a gold coin).
- Go to the Anor Londo bonfire and kill the two silver knights on the stairs
- The drop rate seems to be roughly 1 in 30 knights (3.33%) with 350 item discovery
- The drop rate is ~5.75% (16/278) with 500 item discovery
- One way to improve the speed of the farming run is to use an INT build (43 + sage ring) and Crystal Soul Spear. Set ATT to about 30 so you can cast 4 CSS - two for each knight. The stagger of CSS allows you to stop their charge. A crystal straight sword of some kind will allow you to dispatch the knights if they block a CSS with their shield. A full run with bonfire reset should take 35-40 seconds for the two knights in the stair at Anor Londo bonfire.
- The farming run can be further improved by one-hitting the knights with Crystal Soul Spear (and Hidden Body - so that they do not raise their shields). To be able to one-hit the knight, you need: 60 INT, +9 Court Sorcerer's Staff, Magic clutch ring, Young Dragon Ring, and Bellowing Dragoncrest Ring. Note that the staff does not need to be fully upgraded so that, if you decide to re-spec just for the sake of farming, you do not need to waste a Titanite Slab. Make sure you have enough ATT to complete the run. To one-hit the knight: cast Hidden Body, use Rusted coin, cast Steady Chant, then CSS away. Kill two knights, then run back to bonfire to reset. You should be able to complete another cycle before the effect of the Rusted coin finishes, netting you 4 kills/minute.
- Melee success can also be achieved by using a parry or small shield to parry the first lightning thrust of the spear knight and riposte with a dagger (nearly one shot with hornet ring). Switch to the crystal sabers to finish him off. The sword knight will rush you and is fairly easy to backstab after his rushing lightning attack.
- It is faster to farm the two knights on the stairs than to include the red eyed third up on the right, as with two you should be able to average roughly 3.3 knights/min whereas with 3 it is closer to 2.8 or 2.9.
- Some players find that the Proofs of Concord drop in batches (e.g. 2-3 in quick succession after killing several knights). Others found that a Proof will typically drop within the first 5 runs whenever the game is started, so they reload the game whenever a Proof is found.
- Alternatively, one could rush a low level/low weapon upgrade character to Anri and Horace for the Blue Sentinels covenant item. Most people equip the Way of Blue after they receive it early game. Defending those players in the Undead Settlement may be an easy way to collect these early. Suggested level is 25, weapon upgrade +2.
Notes
- Once you are summoned, the death of a red Aldrich Faithful invader (An Aldrich Faithful invading with a red eye orb) will provide a Proof of a Concord Well Kept. They don't have to be killed by the host or a friendly phantom. You will also get one if they are killed by another invader.

Apparently exiting the game after collecting an item resets its drop chance, I've been doing thisit and have gotten like 3 of them in the past 10 minuetes. Id assume this works with any other rare drop too.

Genuinely just bad design and something really stupid that Miyazaki puts these in souls like games. I would say the one thing that holds back these games is the amount of farming you have to do for either basic weapons or achievement related items. This is an issue from demon souls - elden ring and I don't understand the insistence behind such a **** idea. I needed one concord and figured I'd farm it, and three hours in and I haven't gotten one. Why even put things in the game if you're going to make it barely even a percentage chance of getting. Miyazaki was really huffing some glue while coming up with percentages.

Don't waste your time restarting, moving to a separate area, ect. Ppl have confirmation bias that it works but it's doesn't do anything except make you feel like you're doing more than mindless grinding. It's annoying but get your item discovery up past 400, use a coin every pull, kill them and repeat and you'll have thirty in a day at the most, unless you have the worst luck. Sometimes I get 3 back to back and sometimes I get 1 after 50 pulls, it's obnoxious but you'll get through it, put on some music or a podcast and go for it.
Backing up and healing will make the silver knight with the lance do the gap closer lightning thrust. You can strafe left or right while healing and he'll whiff 100 percent of the time, and be positioned perfectly for a backstab. Makes farming slightly more efficient if you **** up a little.
If you get hurt by the first lance knight, back up and heal and he'll do the gap closer lightning thrust. Literally just strafing left or right will cause him to whiff and you can backstab him. Not that I doubt people can kill these guys, but it's a consistent enough action that it's been making farming a bit more efficient.
Now painful farming aside, has anyone wondered why the silver knights drop them, exactly? They don't seem to hunt the guilty and all, they are actually kinda corrupted and protect Aldrich, even Yorshka says there are no more darkmoons around. So my thought is, maybe the ears are literally theirs? The silver knight themselves are the guilt-soaked offenders of the Gods since they supported Sulyvahn and Aldrich

The mimics called the Blades of the Darkmoon hunt the silver knights of the Gods and feed this to their leader. The earless corpses of the knights will be left behind as a warning to others, inspiring both madness and determination for all achivements. Such is the eternal mandate of the Dark Sun.

Using "Sandboxie" program to run separate steam instances on one machine, I was able to farm these, and farm wolf-blood swordgrass. Swordgrass requires 2 copies of DS3, Concord requires 3 copies. Borrowed via family share on spare accounts.
I rushed to Crucifixion Woods at lvl 1 on both accounts for Swordgrass farm, and lothric castle (drop dark hand) for 3 accounts. Takes a long time still, and a surprising amount of players within summon range get in the way. Still better than Silver-Knight Genocide though.
If you're already SL125 then idk, tough luck. Only did this for achievement.

I give up. The platinum trophy isn't worth it. Not worth dealing with the toxic PvP where everyone is animation cancelling or playing with Polish internet. Not worth waiting out shadow bans. Not worth farming over a million souls from 2 silver knights without getting a single proof despite having over 350 item discovery. Congrats, ds3. You win. I'll be enjoying the Yakuza series now.

i might have discovered something i haven't seen mentioned: i farm the anor londo stair silver knights for proofs currently and it seems like that the spear one drops the proof what feels like exclusively while the sword one doesn't. i have tested it now with just farming the spear one and funny enough it took significantly shorter. maybe its coincidence but i might be onto something.
fyi: i farm with avarice, one crystal sword, rusted coins, embered (not sure if that really helps) and returning to firelink after getting a proof (which seems to do something) all while being offline and 7 luck which all in all amounts to 423 discovery. still took me hours especially since i didn't use the avarice for the first ~10 proofs.

It's funny that Fromsoft removed the need to farm covenant items (and covenants in general) from Elden Ring in order to get a platinum trophy but that games multiplayer is so active it probably wouldn't require offline farming.

June 2023. Farming these on NG with pretty decent results, it's not so bad. Always quit and reload your game (I am on PS4) every 5 minutes after killing the 2 knights. I have made a tally of my 22 drops so far and the worst was 4 reloads (i.e. 20 minutes before 1 dropped) but commonly I've only had to do 2 reloads (i.e. 10 minutes before 1 dropped) or 1 reload (5 minutes before 1 dropped). I only have the symbol of avarice, normal gold serpent ring and normal coin, with base state of luck at 16. Use the lothric ultra greatsword two handed, bait the first knight into doing an electric lunge, roll then spam R1 to kill him. Next wait for the second knight to begin his attack and roll then r1 spam. Rinse and repeat. You can do it people!

with at least 50 Dex 50 Int and Great Soul Dregs is the best way to farm Proof of a Concord Kept in NG (NG becasue it will one shot the knight above NG need to be tested)

Soz, i call BS on that. I have 510 item discovery with coins, this would imply i should get 1 POACK every 10 runs on average, killing 2 knights each time, but my yield is hardly even half of that.
Regardless of the actual numbers this is an absolute pain, worst grind i ever experienced in any FROM game. Shame.

It seems the best way to grind out covenant items is to do a rotation of all the items, warping to a new location, resetting the world each time you get an item is the best way to obtain items.

So I'm on ng++, and with 99 luck and 99 int and about 35 att I farmed these at anor londo in about 3 or 4 hours-ish. Covetous gold serpent ring +3, symbol of avarice and the crystal rapier. With all that i think i had about 525 item discovery with the coin. On ng++ the Silver knights have a bit too much health to die to one CSS, so I used homing crystal soulmass too, hidden body and slumbering ring. Used the bellowing dragon ring and magic clutch ring, but at 99 int the increase isn't very noticeable so I switched out the bellowing for the lingering +2 so hidden body would last longer. Anyways it didn't feel to bad on my soul. I was able to make one coin last to kill the two knights twice, like this guide mentions. Hidden body really cuts down on their blocks and makes the run seem faster, and the slumbering ring makes it so if s**t happens you can roll away from them twice and they won't chase after you. I totes can confirm that closing the game out and restarting from the title menu makes it feel like they start to drop more, almost like resetting the drop cycle or something. I restarted twice after the first two batches of ten and got it all done in an afternoon.
I'm off to grind sunlight medals tomorrow and then vertebrae shackles the day after. I gather that the shackles are the worst, I'll post my experience on their respective pages.
B4 someone asks, I'm on xbone and too cheap to pay for xblive and that's why I'm grinding this junk out..

I love the super long winded strategy on how to kill the 2 silver knights. Just grab a giant club or hammer, roll out of their first attack and club them to death. Takes 3 seconds bro

Another easy way to get a backstab on the spear knight is to wait for him to start charging his lightning stab then take a few steps back like 2 or 3. Then when he attacks, roll towards him and out to the side a bit. That'll leave you next to him and a backstab is simple after that. Once you get the timing down you can backstab pretty consistently with no parry needed.

just a tip, if you run 3/4 up the stairs , once you see spear guy charging up the lightning, literally turn aroun and stare at the elevator, the game breaks and he falls from the sky in front of you and you can smash him then if youre not good at parrying

If you are on PC please juse use a cheat a program or a mod that makes dropping much faster. Just do it, there's no honor in killing thousands of silver knights over and over. you've already proved yourself you can do it, there's no difference between the 100th and the 1000th time. if anything it will make you less powerful since you won't have the souls. Please just use these methods and remember to stay offline while doing so.

Anyone need to farm this we can we just need two more people that are level 170. Ringed city just go there as one way of the blue and since the level is so high and hardly anyone there you partners can invade and the other will be summoned. My friends did this at level 80 but I am too high. anyone got a level 170?

Found out how 3 people can cheese this. One person joins way of blue one is dark moon or sentinel and the third invades.. if you are a high lever like for me 171 and you pick a low populated place it will work. My friends did this but I am too high a level to do it with them if anyone has a 171 character and wants to try let me know

- I killed only the 2 silver knights on the stairs in Anor Londo (~25-50s with an average of 31s)
- running back to the bonfire takes ~10-15s
- teleporting back to the bonfire takes around 20s
I got 1 proof of concept in 3-18 runs with a mean of 9 runs

A tip to stay sane is to be on call with someone that you can talk to and to listen to music of your choosing.
Just turn off your brain and go into autopilot.
Talking to my friend about stuff really distracted me from any boredom I had.

I went back at very high level, respecced for I think 523 item discovery with 99 luck and items, 60 int to one shot the knights like the guide on this page and enough vigor so I don't get murked because of mimic head. Don't really need hidden body, you have to walk up to the top of the stairs to even see the sword knight anyway and spear knight pretty much always does the charge when you get in range while the sword knight will always lower his guard when he gets in melee range as you charge crystal soul spear. I did farm the red eyed knight the entire time as well just to figure out if he has higher drop rate but he shares the same drop rate it seems.
Quitting to the menu and rebooting the whole game afterwards when you get a concord actually works I believe. I've only done it for the last 15 but whenever I did it I would get the drop more consistently within max 7-8 runs (523 discovery, 3 knights per run) but sometimes in 2-4 runs. When I didn't use this it would take anywhere between 2 runs and 30. Yes it took nearly 90 kills for one to drop at some point and a few others at around 50 kills.
The muscle memory is still etched in my brain. Rusted coin, run up, spear knight always does lightning dash attack, sprint right and backstab, R2 R1 dead, get item, run up to the next one, he also always does lightning slash, sprint around him to the right and he does a second follow up one, backstab that, R2 R1 dead, get item, run back to bonfire.
Look. If you had, 1 million souls, would you level up? Or use it to buy? Yo. His hands spaghetti, knuckles weak, arms spaghetti. There is concords in his pocket, proofs of concord. He's hollow, but on the surface he looks calm, collected, to drop proofs, but he keeps on going, what he wrote down, the whole wiki goes spaghetti, he cuts up his knight but the concord won't come out, it's broke how? Everything is ruined now. Concord's run out, knights down, over, bloah!
Sprint back to bonfire, Oh there goes silver knight, oh there goes silver knight, Wow, he's so mad but he won't give up concords, no they won't drop it, He knows he keeps on forgetting that rusted coin isn't used. He knows that but he's broke, His mind wandering, he knows. After he goes to bed sleeping, that's when he's, back to grind again, yo! All these silver knights, he better go murder silver knights and hope it drops in the end!
Alright alright I'm done with the mom's spaghetti remix... but this was my experience.

I got 9 in about an hour. Level 75, Knight class start, 15 attunement, 60 int, 17 luck.
15 attunement is perfect for hidden body and 2 crystal soul spears.
60 int to oneshot the silver knights along with the +9 Court Sorcerer's staff, Young and Bellowing Dragon rings, and the Magic clutch ring.
I had 367 discovery with all the boosting items: basic gold serpent ring, sage's rapier, mimic head, and rusted coins. You can make 2 runs per coin
The method where you quit out after finding a proof kept DOES work. there were a few times where I found them back to back. It's still a real grind, but it absolutely helps. Best of luck! [T]/

If anyone wants an alternative to 60+ int soul spears, 50 intelligence (probably even less) great soul dregs with young+bellowing dragon ring, dark clutch ring and Lothric Banner weapon art casted with preacher's arm +10 also one shots them, it's not a great saving but it's something.
the weapon art lasts a lot (around 2 minutes) so it's not even a bother to use, takes way less time than any staves' weapon art in the long run.

I think this farm was actually starting to get bad for my mental health. The day i actually got the platinum trophy for DS3, i only had sunlight medals (which seem to have a more generous droprate iirc ?), and these things to farm for. I ended up having about 10 left until i had the last sorcery, and spent my entire afternoon on those stairs. It paid off and i actually got the trophy, but when i went to sleep that night, i dreamed of going up and down the anor londo stairs, can't even remember if i was staring at the screen in the dream too or if i was the ashen one.
Don't do Anor Londo silver knights kids.
Ive grinded hundreds of hours for certain things in games. Months even. But this? This is just insanity.
