My personal favorite quickstep tool. Only loses ~20 ar blessed, and it's nowhere near as cancerous as harpe or murky. Also poison is nice

(And before you dump dislikes, I use quickstep to escape getting blendered in invasions, not to be a nuisance in duels. I know how bs that is, we've all met quickstep spammers.)

Literally the best poison weapon. 40 luck + poison infusion should give about 95 build-up. On a SL125 fight it proccs the poison in 3-4 hits. And since you already are a lucky bastard you should pair it with a blood infused bandit knife and anri's straight sword for everything that is immune.

YOU DON'T NEED DEX OR STR, YOU CAN ABSOLUTELY RELY ON STATUS EFFECTS ONLY, IN PVP AND PVE.

Did the bridge cleric Ghru drop an insane amount of heavy gems for anyone else? I got 5 in 10 minutes of farming with 427 item discovery. This beat farming the slugs by a long shot.

Farming this shhit like a true Corean farmer at Farron keep bonfire at low level means killing the Ghru shaman on a tiny bridge while two other Ghrus spam their 6-hits staggering-poisoning combo over and over and over, putting you at high tisk of falling thus not killing the pos mob ; or he himself could fall so you have to drop down to check if he did drop anything and then go all the way up but you're poisoned and now have 5 Ghrus (standing and crawling) on your a s s, kill one ang get your fukin ears destroyed into pieces because it NEEDS to screeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeech autistically everytime it dies
Do that a thousand times and then do it again because miyazacuck swore rng would be ruling this pos trash "game" until it finally dies, and the shhhit weapon still did not drop

TL;DR : farming this at low level at Farron keep bonfire is the worst grinding ever

Tied with the Handmaid's Dagger for lowest dex requirement for a dagger, and unlike the Handmaids' Dagger, the Rotten Ghru Dagger does about average damage. It also has poison. This makes it usable on builds that might not invest any points into Dexterity at all, such as STR or STR/FTH depending on your starting class.

While having a weapon to actually assist your Poison Build up is a good thing; The hidden/bias Scaling on weapons even in the same Class makes it problematic at best. Not to mention Damage ticks from Poison are NOT a constant. Different sources effect differently

No reason to use poison infusion because Rotten Pine Resin give +45. Just go to quality or sharp and you will get more physical damage and more poison build up

Excellent sidearm for a quality build in PvP. Good damage, good speed, low stamina cost per swing and the poison effect seems to chip through shields. Keeps opponents on their toes.

Poison infused at +6 with 38 Luck it has 72 poison, pretty much poisons everything in 1 or 2 hits.

According to this, if you bleed infuse it you wont get any bleed dmg and also it says a lightning infusion will give you fire dmg. it makes me wonder how much of this page it actually correct

I'm working in a poison build idea I have in my head. Does this seem more worthwhile to have infused with hollow or poison/bleed if I was to run a 40/40 dex/luck build?

I used this thing infused with blood and with 50 luck against father Ariandel during the Sister Friede fight. Just by mashing R1 you can burn through the second phase like it's nothing.

At Luck 50 and 40 Dex with a bleed gem, it has 71 bleed and 50 poison with a damage output of 173.

I'm experimenting with a Blood Rotten Ghru dagger +10 in my left hand, and a hollow rotten ghru sword in my right which I either buff with rotten pine resin or carthus rouge.
I have 50/50 strength and dexterity along with 45 luck... they all stack very quickly (within 3-4 hits) and with correct timing and defense, these are perfectly viable.

One of my favorite weapons. With 50 luck, and Blood infusion. The dagger at +10 can have 51 bleed and 46 poison. The speed of the strikes allows quick stacking. Furthermore, the quickstep allows you to strike and dodge the attack, before the other player can hit you.

Going to try this with a poison build along with a couple other Ghru weapons and maybe infusing another with poison. I like to try different weapons out whether they are God-Level damage or not.

I've noticed here and on the page for Farron Greatsword, this dagger and the FGS off hand dagger look "suscpicially" alike. No. The off hand dagger does not have a curved pommel, has a spike out the side instead of a hilt, and a blade that curves in the opposite direction. Can someone please fix?

The poison Aux only takes 3-6 hits to trigger (mine takes 4 with 15 luck) and the DoT lasts a very long time if it isn't dealt with. The damage may not be lethal in PvE or PvP but it does apply a lot of pressure and adds up with additional auto attacks/spell casts.I found an effective strategy was to poison a target and then switch to a weapon/spell that did more raw damage and this would quickly take down even the toughest opponents.
