Sacred Chime of Filianore is a Weapon in Dark Souls 3. It was added with The Ringed City DLC.

A sacred chime blessed by Princess Filianore, matriarch of the church.

Filianore's favor knows no boundaries, and this sacred chime expands the range of vicinity-affecting miracles that heal, cure, or provide other enhancements.

Skill: Pray for Favor
Works with chime equipped in either left or right hand. Heals HP very slowly for a duration of time. Affects caster and those in vicinity.

Notes and Tips:

  • Reinforced with Twinkling Titanite.
  • Pray for Favor
    • Regenerates 4 hp/s for 60 s
    • Total = 240 hp
    • Remains active when the chime is put away, unlike Gentle Prayer.
  • Spell Buff at +5 Upgrade

    • 132 - 30 Fth

    • 182 - 50 Fth
    • 200 - 60 Fth

Location/Where to Find

  • Given by Shira in The Ringed City when you first speak to her while she is behind the doors at the top of the large steps. Accept her request to kill Darkeater Midir and she will give this.
  • If you talk to Shira, knock Midir off the bridge, then touch Fillianore without returning to Shira then Shira will leave her home. She will now be found on the right of Fillianore's Rest. Defeating her yields you the Sacred Chime of Fillianore, Titanite Slab, and her Shira armour set which is found at her original location. Doing her quest is NOT required since this route makes it impossible to complete.

Best support Chime Dark Souls 3! I used to run this chime on a Level 65 (+6) Paladin on Ashes of Ariandel as a cooper. I would keep the weapon art always on and I would help the host clear the entire DLC with my Estus barely touched. Swap to a simple infused shield after casting and you'll be able to have the weapon art on the entire time as you clear a stage. This one chime made regen builds even better as I'll outline below.

You can ideally stack all of the following for Max HP Regen: Sacred Chime of Filianore Skill (4HP/S), Gentle Prayer (6HP/S) from any other Sacred Chime or a Blessed infused Shield (3HP/S), Blessed Weapon buff (3HP/S) used on Anri's Straight sword (2HP/S) for max regen, Sun Princess Ring (2HP/S), Bountiful Light (7HP/S) or Replenishment (5HP/S). I use this set-up on a Strength / Faith Build for my mentioned Level 65 (+6) build and never needed healing so long as I kept my FP topped up. If my math is right, you'll be able to heal roughly 21 HP per second if using all the best regen. I would recommend to pair with Lloyds Shield ring and Lingering Dragoncrest Ring +2 to prolong the regen of Blessed Weapon and Bountiful Light. Overall, regen will never be as broken as Demons Souls but with the proper set-up, they can be powerful in Dark Souls 3. Love this chime for bumping up the utility of them even more.

This is pretty ideal for supportive miracle users that exist out there. Have a WA that remains even when the chime is out, and increases the AOE of stuff. Maybe that’s why it’s not so hard on the spellbuff

        • Anonymous

Tip : Unlike the WA Gentle Prayer, casting the WA of this chime one handed or two handed won't affect the amount of HP you get.

can you use the weapon art without meeting the faith requirements? i wanted to do 10 faith + pirestess ring for Tears of denial

            • Anonymous

The chimes weapon weapon art, and its the boosted great heal range, whilst using lothric war banner make for very good team support

              • Anonymous

What is the minimum faith stat to reach 150 spellbuff on it? 38? 39? I don't need the whole 159 at 40, so I'd like to spare a couple levels if possible.

                • Anonymous

fix the stats on ur site tho,... base stats 142 spellbuff but 132 spellbuff +5 with 30 faith? doesnt really make sense

                  • I made a miracle hybrid so I could get free heals and buffs, forgot about this chime's sexy SB, additionally i forgot it gave "heal" the AOE of "Med heal" witch is beautiful. Thank you Miyazaki-San

Just a tip for you SCoF fans, if you have a Simple-infused offhand, no FP, and have Church Guardian Shiv on your hotbar, the moment the Shiv lights up (meaning have enough FP to use it) is the moment you can also use the Chime's WA at the minimum FP. Pretty handy trick I've found.

Good if you play as spear of the church , with regen spell , infusion , WA , blessed weapon , sun princess ring you can last so much time .

                        • Anonymous

Weapon art + Bountiful Light + sun princess ring + blessed off hand tool + blessed weapon miracle buff = OP regen.

                          • Anonymous

Caressing Tears, Sacred Oath, and all healing miracles but Heal Aid are affected by this spell. So is any non-damaging AOE like Vow of Silence. Maybe even Force?

                            • Anonymous

Easily my favorite catalyst. By far the best chime for helping out teammates cuz of the massive range, and the weapon art is aoe and keeps regening even if you switch it out.

Great pvp weapon especially invasions for buff casters! Regen is useful as well when you have a sun princess ring on as well.

This thing is absolutely wonderful. I love it for a few reasons: 4 HP/s is no joke when more than half your PvP opponents will play strictly passively, letting you regen gradually while they screw around; it’s handy for buffing teammates both with the WA and other spells (I’ll bring Projected Heal and then Sacred Oath with my Darkmoon Ring to some jolly co-op boss fights, and the extra range surprisingly helps a lot); and hands down, #1 reason I always have it on all my builds is it is an amazing FP sink (all my builds with the exception of my sorcerer will all have their FP pools filled by an Ashen Estus, and so I often feel like I’m wasting a bit of FP when I hit the odd 10 or something left, and this chime serves to sink the last remainder of my FP for some juicy regen before I drink, which comes up SOOOO often).

This weapon art stacks with gentle prayer weapon art, which also stacks with blessed weapons. Kinda makes for a semi-viable Lloyds Rings build, keeping your health topped off at up to 16 health per second for a bonus 10% health and 25% absorption. A little bit less risky than running tearstone rings and morian blade, though not quite as powerful. Depending on what armor you have and your opponents build is, you could shrug off a few curved or straight sword hits in a matter of seconds.

I like using this because it lets you still hit your dummy teammates with a heal when they're scampering around oblivious to your attempt to heal them.

Lower's equipment load because you can cast viable miracles without carrying the weight of what you did to the poor child Yorshka.

What all spells are boosted by it's AoE range buff? Does Vow of Silence/Dead Again work with it? A list of spells that work would be nice.

I did a test. The amount of HP healed does not increase as you level it up. I have 53 faith, and 1 chime+0 and 1 chime+4. Their WAs both heal 236 HP.

                                              • Anonymous

BTW doesn't work with Bountiful Light, Tears of Denial or Deep Protection. The WA heal has a range of 1 Backstep.

                                                • Anonymous

It does give quite a significant boost to most support Miracles.
Med and Great Heal went from 1.5 Backsteps without the Chime up to 3 wiBacksteps with Filianore's Chime.
Bountiful and Soothing Sunlight and Caressing Tears went from 4 Backsteps up to 6.
Vow of Silence went from 8 Backsteps up to 9.
Projected Heals ''explosion'' Radius went from 1 Backstep up to 1.5. (Which is a lot less than it sounds but don't forget the Healing area lingers for a second)
Sacred Oath went from 1 Backstep up to 3.

Tested at Firelink Shrine with the Firekeeper in her standing location in the Middle toward Andre and with Andre himself.

When using this Chime to cast healing/buffing spells with proximity effects, the spell's range is increased dramatically.

                                                    • Pray of favor(4hp/s) + gentle prayer(6hp/s) + sun princess ring(2hp/s) + anri's sword(2hp/s) + blessed weapon(2-4hp/s) + bountiful sunlight(10hp/s) = 26-28hp/s
The shortest lasting buff in this list is the blessed weapon at 45 seconds or gentle prayer if you toggle it off. Lingering can be used for a slower burn.
Insane amounts of hp regen for pvp, reminds me of mushrooms in Dark Souls 1 The great thing is that all of this can be used in a low SL build easily.

                                                      • Anonymous

Check out the aura around Project heal when you cast it with this weapon, makes the aoe a lot more forgiving if you're aim is off by.

                                                        • Anonymous

The fact that its weapon art lasts even after swapping it out makes it a huge benefit for a health regen build.
Imagine having a blessed weapon in the right hand, a blessed shield in the left, the Sun Princess ring equipped, and this effect all running at the same time.

After playing with this chime, i have uncovered some sort of hidden property.
it seems that when you cast denial, there is this cast echo... a given time after you cast denial, you will see an auto cast at your feet, the same circle style as when you had cast denial.
it makes a sound too. ATM i have no clue what this does. further testing needed

                                                            • Anonymous

two things i noticed, idk if anyone else posted this already but 1: the aoe is bigger then the "circle" effect when using it and 2: it says 18 fp cost but its actually 50 fp cost (for me atleast, tested without any wonders equipped)

                                                              • I don't know 100% for sure since I haven't used it enough, but the AoE range boost on this chime feels kind of minimal. Maybe plus one body length to radius at most. It definitely won't make your Great Heals as huge as your Bountiful Sunlights, and it won't make your Bountiful Sunlights cover an entire room or anything.

The added range is tied to a tiny, additional shockwave that emanates from you after casting. The shockwave is the same color as the miracle being cast, and it's easiest to see when casting Caressing Tears since it's bright white instead of faint gold/yellow.

                                                                • Anonymous

The radius on Projected Heal is also bigger when cast with this chime. Was able to heal an ally during the Darkeater Dragon bossfight, sent out a healing blast across the arena, and it must have landed maybe 10 feet from where he ended up and the wave still hit him and his hp went back to full. :)

                                                                  • Anonymous

Given that this thing's WA can heal the caster AFTER it's been put away...

Anri's Straightsword +5 = 2 points of HP per tick

Ethereal Oak Shield +5 = 2 points of HP per tick

Sun Princess Ring = 2 points of HP per second

Blessed Weapon/35 Faith/+5 Filianore Cat = 3 points of HP per second

Soothing Sunlight = 10 points of HP per second

Filianore's WA = 4 points of HP per second

                                                                    2 + 2 + 3 + 10 + 4 = 21 points of HP restored per second. My regen build is gonna love this thing.

                                                                    • Anonymous

My charcter has 99 faith, and I am wearing the Morne's ring and Ring of the Sun's First Born. The Spell Buff on the chime is 211. Also my character has 50 Vigor (1689HP when embered). Tested in firelink shrine by killing myself from fall damage with tears of denial.

                                                                      Great Heal: 1450 HP
Soothing Sunlight: 1689 HP (a full heal)

And then Sunlight Talisman+10, 214 Spell Buff, same two rings

                                                                      Heal Aid: 322 HP
                                                                      Heal: 644 HP
                                                                      Med Heal: 880 HP
                                                                      Great Heal: 1181 HP
                                                                      Soothing Sunlight: 1503 HP

So it is a decent amount weaker than Yorshka's and just a bit less than Sunlight, I suppose they did this as the range of the heals is noticably larger. Also note, I tried testing it with the Rose of Ariandel Buff, and the WA does not affect healing miracles, only offensive miracles.

                                                                      • Anonymous

The WA, like chime itself, seems like it would be mainly useful in co-op while stacked with Bountiful Sunlight if you wanted to passivly heal yourself and your allies and save on FP/Healing items. If the comment below is correct, the WA is 4 hp per second, so with Bountiful Sunlight, that's 14hp per second for you and any allies in the vacinity. Not bad.

                                                                        • This talisman seems to heal at 4HP per second for 59(?) seconds while the Cleric's Sacred Chime seems to heal at 6HP per second for 60 seconds.

Also: Filianore's Chime has 172 spellbuff with 45 FTH and 182 with 50 FTH.

                                                                          • Anonymous

Oh excellent, so now when people run away from me when I try to heal them, I just MIGHT be able to still get them with it. I'm guessing it'll be weaker for offensive spells though, and the weapon arte will probably be a weaker self heal since it can work on allies. I guess those people playing "dedicated healer" cosplay builds who don't do anything but block and heal you when you get hit will like this thing.
