Saint's Talisman is a Weapon in Dark Souls 3.

Medium for casting miracles of the Gods. Ivory talismans are given only to women clerics, and faith greatly affects their effectiveness.

There is a certain frailty to this talisman, which undermines the steadfastness granted by its Skill.

Skill: Unfaltering Prayer
Temporarily increases poise while casting miracles, preventing enemy attacks from interrupting prayer. Works while equipped in either hand.

Notes and Tips:

  • Cannot be Infused or Buffed.
  • Reinforced with Titanite.
  • At 60 FTH it has a spellbuff of 242.
  • Has high spellbuff, but low casting poise.

Poise is good enough in PVE. You still can facetank lighter attacks and you don't want to trade with heavy attacks anyway. It's spellbuff is just few points short from yorshka chime but it is available way earlier.
So in PVE I strongly recommend to use this one and forget about other talismans and chimes

Mm... I really don't know why they talk so badly about this talisman, although it has poor stability, the truth is that it is the second most damaging Faith trigger after Yorshka's Chime; to clarify it better:

        • Saint's Talisman: Excellent damage power and poor stability

        • Canvas Talisman: Medium damage power and medium stability

        • Sunlight Talisman: Poor damage output and excellent stability

If the question is what is the best Faith trigger, it is indeed the Sunless Talisman, but if you don't want to kill Yorshka and you are only going to depend on Faith for damage, then the Saint's Talisman is the one to use in both pvp and pve; I usually use it in both cases and it works great for me.

Definitely the best talisman for PvE and bosses by far but terrible for PvP if your opponent is using anything other than a dagger.

          • Anonymous

In terms of weapon buffs, at 99 intel and faith this outclasses every talisman I have experimented with, otherwise there are better options, but the damage at very high faith levels is definitely noticeable.

            • Anonymous

first time tring a faith build, obviously i choose the talisman with the weakest poise and imo pure faith kinda sucks for most of the run in pve

              • Anonymous

From what I've noticed of this chime, it doesn't have the strongest lightning miracle damage but it does actually deal increased miracle damage, so for things like corona this one is pretty top notch for damage.

                • Anonymous

This IMO is better than Yorshka's chime. First of all you get the WA cast which give you a guaranteed to hits, even though it's not as good as the Sunlight Talisman or Canves variant ,it's still something. The only S scaling on a talisman, as well as only requiring 16 FAITH to use. Clerics are good to go from the Start without leveling. Not completely sure if it has a higher spell buff @ 60 Faith but i believe it does. Don't kill Yorshka, don't do dat. Use this instead

                  • Anonymous

Guys stop killing Yorshka, this deals almost the same damage as Yorshka's chime, and has a weak poise while using L2. SHOW YOUR HUMANITY, STOP KILLING YORSHKA.

                    • Anonymous

between sunless talisman, saint's talisman & yorshka's chime which is the best for lightning and healing miracles? I've got 50 fth. and Sunless seems to give a much higher buff than the other 2. so why do people keep saying that the other 2 are better than Sunless? Could somebody plz explain?

                      • Anonymous

It's the 2nd best faith casting item imo, if you don't want to kill for the Yorksha Chime (6 more spell buff, no hyper armor). The hyper armor is low for this but good for everything else.

                        • Anonymous

Don't fall for the highest spellbuff bait, it has the lowest Hyper Armor of any talisman. You can get staggered with just 2 curved sword r1s

                          • Anonymous

this talisman deals bonus damage when used with offensive divine miracles (Emit force, Wotg, Divine pillars of light and way of white corona). Its about 9-10 % in PVE, have not tested it in PVP. At 60 faith its maybe even stronger than yorshkas chime

                            • Anonymous

At 60 faith this will be your go to battle talisman, poise weapon art (although it seems they really weakened it) and will have the highest spell buff for pure faith casters

                              • Anonymous

I did some testing in faith spell Buff... basically each point of spell buff is 2.5 points worth of damage ADDED

                                • Anonymous

I don't understand why they made it so its unfaltering prayer is so weak. This talisman already requires heavy fth investment to out damage the regular talisman (60 vs 45 for the talisman soft cap) and if you are gonna use it for long range casting you are better off using yorshka's anyway

                                  • Anonymous

do you equip these at your right hand and when you want to use miracles you swap it out with your weapon? i started out as a knight and followed the "quality" build, but now half way to the game and after reading builds, i wanna do a paladin type.

Upping a talisman increases the damage of attack spells regardless of whether or not your spell buff increases. (Only actually noticed when casting Sunlight Spear I cannot give exact numbers.)

                                      • Anonymous

You cannot benifit from S scaling until you get to the cap of a stat. at 60 faith this has a gap of appx 40 spell buff across all upgrade levels compared to the sunbro talisman. Just from what I'm seeing

                                        • Anonymous

I've have Faith at 45. The regular Talisman +6 and this Saint's Talisman +9 have the exact same spell buff (186). Using a Titanite Slab will only bump up the spell buff for this Saint's Talisman to 187 (1 point). It is supposed to have S scaling, but I'm at 45 faith. You would think that at this point it would outclass the regular common Talisman's A rating, especially if it's +9 and the Talisman is +6. Am I missing something? It has better Physical rating, but I don't think that matters... and they seem to have the same casting speed.

                                          • Anonymous

I've noticed that upgrading this talisman does not improve the spellbuff stat as it does for my other talismans (and chimes, for that matter). Is that the certain frailty mentioned? I'm not actually too clear on how the spellbuff stat and faith scaling relate to the strength of miracles, though.

Ivory talismans are given only to women clerics, and faith greatly affects their effectiveness. Can someone test if the gender of the character affect the damage of miracles?
