Spirit Tree Crest Shield is a Shield in Dark Souls 3.
A knight's shield engraved with a crest depicting a spirit tree.
One of the enchanted blue shields. The Spirit Tree Crest Shield greatly reduces lightning damage.
Notes and Tips:
- Can NOT be Infused.
- Reinforced with Twinkling Titanite.
- Provides an average damage block of 71.8%. Has high lightning damage block, second to the Lothric Knight Shield.
- One of the crest Shields, each one specializes in a different niche.
Location/Where to Find
- Found in a chest in Lothric Castle. From the Dragon Barracks bonfire, head toward the narrow bridge guarded by the two dragons. Drop down between the first two stone posts on the left side of the bridge, and walk along the ledge up the stairs and through the doorway on your right(past the crossbow, greataxe, and halberd wielding hollow soldiers). Immediately after exiting the narrow doorway turn to your right and you will see a set stairs going down, the shield is inside one of four chests guarded by an Outrider Knight.

Parameter Bonus: Strength, Dexterity,Magic, Fire, Lightning and Dark bonuses - The scaling multiplier applied to the [Attack: stat]. Scaling quality is from highest to lowest as follows: S/A/B/C/D/E.The higher the player's [Str, Dex, Mag, Fire, Light] stat, the higher the [Attack Bonus: Stat] is (found on the player status screen). The higher the scaling letter, the higher the percent multiplier applied to the [Attack: Stat].This resulting bonus damage is added to the base physical damage of the weapon and is shown in the equipment screen in blue numbers as a "+ X".
Durability: The weapon's HP, when the durability hits 0, the effectiveness of its attacks become weakened to the point of almost uselessness. When an items durability is low, a message will come up saying "Weapon At Risk!" at this point the weapon does not perform at it's best.
Weight: How much the item weights when equipped.
Stability: How well the player keeps stance after being hit
Attack Type: Defines what kind of swing set the weapon has: Regular(R), Thrust(T), Slash(Sl), Strike(St)

A shield you probably want to equip when seeing a dude with a rag in his hand

is great because it is 5.0 weight, freeing up a lot of different armor combos while still providing decent mitigation (especially lightning).

Why do exactly Drakeblood knights use this one?Shield grants high lighting absorption, so i believe it kinda represents protection from Dragon's greatest weakness - lighting, but... Why the Spirit Tree? What's the relation between Spirit Trees and dragons?

If you sort your shields by Guard Absorption than this particular specimen will be in top 15 of your shields mostly exceeded by greatshields.Amont his Blue family... Well, let's see... I'm going to take elemental absorptions and then just summarise them. Crest:=252, Dragon:=252, Golden Wing:=229, Spirit Tree:=259.As you can see Spirit Tree exceeds at being the most universal one amongst all 3. The weakiest side of it is Dark with 53% damage absorption, while all others have their weakiest sides at 43% (which happens to be Lighting, by irony).Golden Wing happend to be the weakiest of the family, but for another reason: it trades damage absorptions for 1 more stability at +5 and for spell parrying. And it's still the best at magic absorption. So, there's that. I just wish the inner side of the shield looked a little bit more... Cleaner and refined.

Location: shoot the left dragon with arrows until it dies (the second one dies as well for some reason ). Go past the bridge and take a left up some stairs, then go straight until you see the stairwell leading to the outrider knight room. It's a bit tedious (shooting the dragon down) but way safer than risking the abyss hollows and the hollow trio below. My tip to save time and arrows is to unequip al gear except your bow and don Flynn's ring + Lloyd's sword ring.

There's no stability on the chart for the upgraded shield, and I don't know enough about wikis to add it. For the record I have one at +4 and the stability is 56

YES! Drakeblood knight shield, and now with a true phisical protection, on dark souls 2 you can spell parry, looks like they changed it for good and sense

This shield saved my ass during the Nameless King battle. It also made the fight against Dragonslayer Armour a LOT easier.
Lol, this the shield the spirit caller snail would use in Elden Ring
