Strike Damage is a Damage Types in Dark Souls 3. It is one of eight damage types presented in the original game and one of the four Physical-type damage.

Notes & Trivia
- Strike damage is very effective against skeletons and fragile enemies.
- Strike damage is the most effective physical-type damage, when facing enemies wearing heavy armour (only exceptions is Cathedral Knight, in which case Slash Damage is more effective).
- Most weapons dealing this type of damage scales pretty well with strength, especially when infused (if it is possible) with Heavy Gem.

In game and here it says that strike damage is good against heavily armored foes, while listing most of the "knight" foes in the resistant section... which is it?

Strike was so useless in bloodborne that they overcompensated in ds3 and made it broken. Now ER made it irrelevant.
