Yorshka's Chime is a Weapon in Dark Souls 3.



A sacred chime belonging to Yorshka. Her brother, the former knight captain, presented her with this medium together with another gift: her name.
The ringing of the chime must have done much to soothe her loneliness.

Skill: Gentle Prayer
Recovers HP for a period of time, albeit extremely slowly. Works while equipped in either hand.



Notes and Tips:

  • Cannot be Infused or Buffed.
  • Reinforced with Titanite.
  • After 49 Faith, this Chime has the highest Spell Buff.
  • At 55 Faith and 18 Strength this Chime has a Spell Buff of 228 (Source)
  • The chime has to remain active in your hand for the weapon art to continue regenerating health.
  • At 60 FTH it has a spellbuff of 247.

Parameter Bonus: Strength, Dexterity,Magic, Fire, Lightning and Dark bonuses - The scaling multiplier applied to the [Attack: stat]. Scaling quality is from highest to lowest as follows: S/A/B/C/D/E.The higher the player's [Str, Dex, Mag, Fire, Light] stat, the higher the [Attack Bonus: Stat] is (found on the player status screen). The higher the scaling letter, the higher the percent multiplier applied to the [Attack: Stat].This resulting bonus damage is added to the base physical damage of the weapon and is shown in the equipment screen in blue numbers as a "+ X". 
Durability: The weapon's HP, when the durability hits 0, the effectiveness of its attacks become weakened to the point of almost uselessness. When an items durability is low, a message will come up saying "Weapon At Risk!" at this point the weapon does not perform at it's best.
Weight: How much the item weights when equipped. 
Stability: How well the player keeps stance after being hit
Attack Type: Defines what kind of swing set the weapon has: Regular(R), Thrust(T), Slash(Sl), Strike(St)

        Best chime for buffing weapons with miracles. Faith does increase your spell buff based on the chimes faith scaling, and in turn increases damage from buffing. The math works like this for Lightning and Darkmoon blade miracles:

        .95*(spell buff)=attack rating increase.

        That means 95% of your spell buff will become either lightning or magical damage. At a 60 faith investment that gives almost 230 damage per hit before damage reductions and absorptions. Or in reality, about 95-125 to enemy players after if they fill all their armor slots. Needless to say, best used on fast weapons.

              between sunless talisman, saint's talisman & yorshka's chime which is the best for lightning and healing miracles? I've got 50 fth. and Sunless seems to give a much higher buff than the other 2. so why do people keep saying that the other 2 are better than Sunless?

                If you can't kill her you can just use the Cleric's Sacred Chime. It has a whole 14 lower Spell Buff at 60 FTH and can be obtained as either a starting item for the Cleric class or dropped infrequently from the hollows in the start of the game, before the Gundyr fight. It's a small sacrifice in healing/damage in exchange for a clear conscience.

                  I removed my headset, closed my eyes and used a very high dmg weapon art to kill her, after a few seconds I opened my eyes and got the chime

                    How does this chime have the highest spell buff after 49 faith? At +10, it has 263 spell buff, while my Caitha's Chime +5 has 329. Is there something I'm missing?

                      Okay, I killed her for the chime. I intended to use a one hit weapon to do it quickly, and instead I ended up doing so with my*****ty sword that did such low damage, it took me plenty of strikes to kill her.
                      All the while she was begging me to stop and before she died, she apologised to her parents for failing.

                      I never felt worse in my life.



                      Oh well, I'm gonna kill the fire keeper in the ending anyway.

                        Farmed silver knights for around 18 hrs (never summoned) just for her covenant rewards then killed her without any hesitation or remorse



                        totally worth it


                        not really the blade buff is usless to me i just use lightning...

                          I have no attachment to this NPC. I talk to her for all of 5 seconds to turn in covenant items. Barely any dialogue or reason to care about her. Easiest NPC kill in the game.

                            Could someone more savvy than me remove the bleed aux from the upgrade table? It has a 100 critical modifier (which it cannot take advantage of because it's a chime), NOT a 100 bleed aux. That would be obscene.

                              Makes you wish they had kept the Blue Eye Orbs. I want to punish the guilty not play a glorified babysitter. And those with this chime would get it extra hard.

                                I think it's a another test. Are you willing to even sacrifice a basicaly child to become more powerfull. I never killed her but I just realise that it is not much different from betraying Anri who trusted you completly or damn the world by robbing the flame for the Dark Lord ending. If you plan to get that ending and roleplay as the Dark Lord as*h*le anyway it would make sense to kill her I think. Just another nail in the coffin for the world. And just to make that clear: I argue here from a roleplay perspective. It's not about the damn chime. Maybe that helps people to get over with it, move on and start NG+ asap to see her again. This time then as the knight in shining armor and not as the rotten betrayer you would be anyway. If you kill her or not.

                                  Doesnt have the poise buff tho... Although you can kind of do that by using a weapon with Perseverance to bypass that lack of a useful weapon art.
