Enemies are hostile NPCS in Dark Souls 3 that the player can confront to obtain Souls, upgrade materials and equipment. Enemies have different resistances to the many Damage Types, and their HP changes depending on your New Game Cycle. Okay, I think I should add the list of enemies that are well designed and fair in my opinion to my 03 Mar post: Lothric knights (not the greatsword variant), large hollows (wielding greataxe and halberd), evangelists, cathedral knights, grave wardens, giant crabs, skeletons, black/silver knights, pontiff knights (not the scythe variant), millwood knights, harald knights, ringed knights and maybe dark wraiths. Angels are nice gimmick enemies too. So basically only most humanoid and knighty enemies. Everyone else besides harmless trash mobs like deacons and slugs are atrocities meant to annoy the hell out of you and show that the game is very "hardcore"-ish.

One of some actual advantages that Elden Ring has over DS3: better/more balanced pve. All enemies in this game vary from being simply annoying to outright horrible and fighting more than one enemy at once is usually straight up impossible thanks to terrible poise system, unless you abuse hyperarmor and perseverance. People say late game enemies in ER deal too much damage but even vanilla DS3 is like no different or even worse. As much as I love both games, and though souls games are supposed to be unfair, DS3 is taking things to far and ER turning out to be an "easy mode" game was probably for better.

I LOVE INSTANT KILL GRAB ATTACKS! I LOVE NOT BEING ALLOWED TO MAKE ANY MISTAKES BECAUSE ON THE OFF CHANCE I DO THE GAME JUST KILLS ME! I LOVE GRAB ATTACKS!

In my opinion the pontiff Beasts in the Aldrich world secret door is the worst thing in the entire game also they are weak to Yhorms great mach tee with frost

How has nobody put sword master on this page yet, it says he is an "enemy" on his page but you click on "enemy" and he's not on the page. Same with the drang soldiers outside anor Londo.

"Enemies are hostile NPCS in..." Yeah, if it has to be ecplained to you what an enemy is, than DSIII might be the wrong game to start with....

                      the two guys that
duelwield a spear and the other a mace and buff themselves with magic aren't in the itthryal of the boreal valley section...

You forgot to add Deacon of the Deep to Irithyll of Boreal Valley. There is that whole walkway above the giants that they patrol after the Pontiff bonfire

The hollows in the area between Gundyr and Firelink aren't listed. I came here to check something I've never seen. Couldn't find it here, Wikidot or anywhere else online. Anyway, I think the one hollow standing on the edge of the cliff is unique. I've aggro'd him away from the cliff so many times and his behavior is really different. Not only does he just run at/into/around you for like 20 seconds between each attack, but he throws (what looks like) the oil urns from DS2. Super weird. Anyone else seen this?

The link to the Monstrosity of Sin is a redirect, maybe a good idea to update that (I can't find the edit button myself, sorry)

There are countless mobs missing from the Ringed city dlc. The monsters listed here are only from the place in between the 2 dlc's...

                                  • Hi, there's another enemy that needs to be added to the Archdragon Peak section.
                                    https://darksouls3.wiki.fextralife.com/Giant+Serpent-Man
I'd add it myself, but ya know it's...locked...

It would be good to have a list of all abyssal enemy. (Weak against Wolf Knight's Greatsword and Farron Greatsword)

There is no mimic in Anor Londo... And also there is a Wyvern in archdragon peak... Still, keep up the good work, guys!

Anyone else really hoping one of the upcoming boss weapons is a scythe? A reason I hope that is because recently I saw a video for cut content in ds3 and one things cut from the game was a weapon called lothric's scythe, which was suppose to be one of the weapons you could get from the twin prince's soul, but was later changed to lothric's holy sword. I guess it was change for the twin princes greatsword.

If you stand well outside of their leash range and shoot them with a ranged weapon, such as the Black Bow of Pharris (with Hawk Ring) or Onislayer Greatbow, they'll run a short distance and, shortly after, forget they were hit and return to their starting point. This can be most easily seen in the Undead Settlement shooting the lizard in the valley. It takes several arrows, but does avoid the chance that they'll escape as easily. Can be useful if you have a melee weapon that can't hit them as easily.

                                              • The second time you fight Knight Slayer Tsorig he is actually there rather than a phantom (though his name is at least in red). It gives no invasion warning and he appeared even when I wasn't enkindled (he almost killed me while I was using my ember as I hadn't expected him to be there without it when I returned after he originally killed me ;) ).

                                                • Not an author yet, but I'm interested in updating drops from enemies. If someone's willing to start the pages, I have drops from:Hollow CagesEvangelistsLothric Knights (sword and spear varieties)Lantern Cultists (the hooded fellows in Undead Settlement)Hollow WorkersThe crazy hollows that wear Worker's Hoods and drop on your head or shoot darts in undead SettlementCrossbow Soldier Hollows

Knights should be separate from standard hollows. I've seen them drop:1x Titanite ShardKnight's CrossbowLothric Knight Sword

i feel it my duty to say that the giant crystal lizards are utterly destroyed by high damage short range strength weapons especially ones with war cry weapon arts like the greataxe

                                                          • hey guys, because the list of enemies is so long i decided to make 1 extra page where i will put down all informations i can get so far. i will call it OVERVIEW and will place it here between my enemy-list and the bosses. i come to this point because i realized that it would be a pain to rename all the different sites and change their layouts and so on. so i will put now everything on one page and another guy can put the informations on better layouted pages later who have a better ideas of how this sitecreation tool here works.have fun guys

                                                            • won't it be better and clearer to put different enemies into their locations?i watched peeves stream yesterday and started to write down some infos.... so i dont need to say there are some SPOILERS AHEAD:and if someone want to make a placeholder/maker here are some enemies i named for myself and maybe delete this comment if the info is wrote on the correct sites. im not sure yet how to create a good page.Profand Capital:gargoyle (2 versions, torch and lance, 2500 souls)white priestess (850 souls)mimics (2000 souls, rosted coin, Greatshield of Glory)Boss: Yhorn the giantin Irithyll of Boreal Valley:behind a hidden door Giant Croco Rats (12000 souls, Ring of Favor) -> a bonfire spawns after these 2 are killed (Water Reserve)and last but not least:Anor LondoSilver Knight (2 versions: spear, sword)red eyed silver knight (4000 souls)6-leg-beast (2500 souls, Aldrich's Ruby (its a ring))fatty priest (1000 souls)slime (80 souls - highly resistent against normal dmg - like in DS1)
