Old Sage's Blindfold is a Helm in Dark Souls 3. It is part of the Cornyx's Set.
Attire of pyromancers of the Great Swamp, particularly favored by old sages.
The large blindfold blocks out unnecessary light, allowing one to observe a pyromancy's true essence.
The flame reveals all, and obscures all.
Location/Where to Find
- Found together with Witch's Ring on a corpse/altar in the Catacombs after climbing down the demolished bridge, right before the first bonfire in the Smouldering Lake area (Abandoned Tomb).

Notes and Tips
- When worn with the sorcerer robe it renders as both the sorcerer hood and blindfold. Tested on PS4 game version 1.6

I believe this should’ve been like the Crown of Dusk for Pyro’s. Buffing Pyromancies and making you weaker.

This always reminds me of the Undead Citizens of DS2. Especially since I remember reading somewhere a theory that most of the prisoners at Sinners Rise were pyromancers (inc. The Lost Sinner herself)
But yeah, there were a lot of citizens all over the place.

It seems to me that when you wear this, NPC phantoms will invade you even if you're not embered.

Tested it on a Fire Stake Witch. Did 881 Dmg with Black Fire Orb, 760 without. But in other enemies the Ghru, that are week to fire, no difference in Dmg with Fire Orb or Black Fire Orb...Glitch?

Note when worn with the sourcerer robe it renders on your character as the sourcerer hood and blindfold combined. This is at least on the ps4 game version 1.6

If worn with the Sorcerer Robe the hood of the robe will be up over the blindfold similar to the Sorcerer Hood.

Found right next to the Abandoned Tomb bonfire in Catacombs of Carthus. Still not quite sure if there's anything more to it than just being a head piece.
