Karla's Pointed Hat is a Helm in Dark Souls 3. It is part of the Karla's Set.
Hat of the dark witch Karla.
A pointed hat is the signature of a heretical sorceress. Karla, however always kept if close.
Location/Where to Find
- Buy from Shrine Handmaid in Firelink Shrine for 5000 souls after giving her Prisoner Chief's Ashes (found in Irithyll Dungeon)
- Also drops if you kill Karla

AnonymousIt should give the same buff to dark magics than the crown of dusk gives to regular sorceries. It would make it more than just a stylish choice.

Doesn't add damage to any attacks of any kind. Shrine maiden sells after you turn in prisoner ashes from the dungeon.
I did a little damage test for different staves and when I went to put on the Crown of Dusk I had noticed that when I was wearing Karla's hat I did more damage. It appears to be tied to her hat exclusively, because I tried her armor and hat on and I still did the same damage. But when I put on the Crown I did less damage. For the test I used Homing crystal soul mass and made sure that all 5 crystals made a direct hit. I tested this on the man grub outside Rosaria's bed chamber. (Not the one casting spells) And I uses a +5 Sages Crystal Staff unbuffed. In addition to all sorcery damage boosting rings including the clutch ring. And with the Crown I did 696 on a clean hit. With Karla's hat I did 780 on clean hit. I haven't tested if this might just be a bug on the part of the Crown, but I'll update if I find anything else interesting.
