Attire of the Painting Guardians, whose forms are described in the mythology of heretics.
A smooth pale hood that deters magic.
The hunchbacked teller of ancient tales describes unwanted souls who are unwelcome across the lands, and are eventually drawn into a cold, painted world.

I like the looks of this armor set. I like hood the most, but it's sad that you can't really combine it with any other armor pieces without looking ugly, because majority of armor sets in this game are silver, gray, black or brown.

Crown of dusk + painting guardian gown + Antiquated Gloves + loincloth (RingCity) = can't play this game seriously.
So these guys aren't around anymore but the Black Knights are. Guess we know who won.

Should be noted that without the gloves you don’t get the long flowing sleeves of the full set.

In dark souls 1 I always wanted this set and when I found it in this, I was really happy. Not many bright armours (If you call the cloth armour in comparison to others) so I really happy when I found it.
The skirt would've been better if it didn't come attached to those weird curly toes.

Just look at the bleed resistance! This set, along with a bloodbite ring, will make all the bleed build cry so much a new ocean will form.

Someone should add this is the same armor set from the Painted Guardians from Dark Souls (1). Painting Guardians guarded the Painting holding the Painted world of Ariamis, and since this set appears in the same spot it should be noted.

looking at the descriptions plus the DLC trailer talking about the painting and cold world, could this set be somehow relevant to the DLC... maybe a key to access the new area?

Do the sleeves roll up like in Dark Souls 1? This is obviously the most important question one can ask about this armor. haha

Use this set with silver knight hands and Fire witch chest. Looks pretty good.
