Flames are a type of Weapon in Dark Souls 3. These Weapons allow the player to cast Pyromancies. The base game has only one Flame, with the Ashes of Ariandel DLC adding a second one and The Ringed City DLC adding a Curved Sword that doubles as a Flame.

        Best flame?
        I have all of em, love the demon scar because I don't really have to wield a melee weapon for regular enemies and bosses that are weak to fire. However I am pretty inexpirenced in dark souls as I've only played the third and I'm not too good with the games spell complication.

        • they needed at least two more, like who else wished that the Izolleth staff could duel wield pyromancy and sorcery just like the crystal bell thing can do miracles and sorcery.

            Personally I believe they could have done one more flame - Profane Pyromancers Flame. Have it boost Dark pyromancer spells and increase in power the more hollowed you are. My idea of where to find it is simply in the profane capital in the very spot where the fire maidens gather around.

              Wish that if this equipped on the left and a weapon on the right weapon it would give the weapon or keep the left hand a flame glow. Also wish there was a black flame for astetics...

                Such an incredible franchise all but ruined by 100 useless weapons with crap stats and even crappier movesets. Oh but this or that weapon is so awesome at level 100 and max upgrade!! Just put all your points into luck like 1000 other players and ***** yourself out what little variety is left. Now shut up, wear the same stuff as everyone else, and enjoy all the new dung pies in our DLC. Meh fine... heres another flame that took us half a year and millions of dollars to include. (We spent all our time writing code for dung pies)

                  I can verify that the spell buff increases with the reinforcement of Talismans, Chimes, and other spellcasting gear, but how much it irises I cannot verify, nor which one has the best spell-buff endgame. Can someone testthese amounts for me and upload them? Can a column be added for spell buff to the talismans, chimes, catalysts' etc. upgrade tables?
