Noob coming over from Elden Rang on my first playthrough! Can't get the helm to drop farming Church of Yoshka. Even with the item discovery increasing items. Ive gotten multiple chest, gauntlets, leggings and immolation tinder

I have spent countless hours trying, hoping to get the gauntlets. Oh but alas, they manage to elude me. Even after grinding the same witch with thousands of plunging attacks and swathes of useless duplicates I still don't have my gauntlets. If the game designers read this, patch the gauntlet drop rate.

Over 110,000 souls worth of farming using the Sage's Crystal Rapier and numerous rusted coins to no avail for the gauntlets to this set. Alas. Could arm a platoon of Fire Witches with Immolation Tinders and helms - even a number of body/leg pieces. I've tried both the plunging attack one outside the Church of Yorshka BF as well as the one at the bottom of the stairs near the Distant Manor BF. The Antiquated Gloves satisfy the demands of fashion, but really.

The only piece that dropped is fire witch helm then all of the other pieces like the armor and leggings never dropped, i am in NG+7 The fire witch helm droped in NG+2. is this some sort of a bug?

the fastest way I found to farm this was go to the Church of Yorshka bonfire, go out the main door and head left along the balcony and there's a Fire Witch you can drop attack on. Since I was farming this after I had beaten the game and DLCs I could 1 shot it, but even without 1 shotting it's all alone and should be easy to dispatch. There is a 2nd Fire Witch surrounded by 2 Pontiff Knights coming down the stairs infront of you. If you think can kill them quick you can dispatch that Fire Witch as well, but if you think it's dangerous or too time costly just port back to the Church and repeat.

Easy/fast farm method: Don't kill Pontiff, warp to the Church bonfire, sprint towards the summon signs, summon Paleshade and Anri (if available) or the weaker douche (Gottfried or Gottlieb or whatever), then massacre your way to the Central bonfire (backtracking). With the Covetous ring and Shield of Want you'll get ~20k souls each run plus two armor sets and it's extremely easy.

From the Church Bonfire, go out the front door and go left. You should be standing on a ledge with a Fire Witch Knight right bellow you. Once dead, head over to the nearby plaza where another Fire Witch Knight is patrolling with 2 Pontiff Knights. Poke out and grab it’s attention and let the Pontiff Knights pass, then rush over and kill him.

I use the helm, chest, and arms. I like silver knight leggings with the set. Also pontiff shield and any kind of flame sword

Where the chest piece with a maiden head piece elite knight leggings and a pair of cathedral gauntlets and you have a nice looking holy paladin/Saint armor

If you pair the chest and legs with the dancer’s helm and gauntlets, it gives off this “elegantly deadly” vibe, especially with the MGS.

Most annoying set to farm, I spent 1 hour or 1 30 minutes farming it and I ended up with 4 helms, 5 chest pieces, 6 gauntlets, 4 pike halberd sand 1 leggings.

Unfortunately, the lovely billowing skirt of this set works only with certain armor sets (to name a few- dragonscale, fire witch armor, favour set). Donning any other armor would cause it to compress and stick to your legs. Really sad, I couldn't complete my Grim Reaper outlook with Big Hat, Abyss Watcher Armour, Legion Gauntlets and Fire Witch leggings.
