Pontiff Knight Set is an Armor in Dark Souls 3.
(Piece Name) of the Pontiff's Knights, now harrowed spirits of Irithyll.
The golden crown signifies those who report directly to Sulyvahn. The knights were his watchful eyes, and when needed, his punitive blades. (Crown)
This blue-gray (Piece Name), shrouded in a thinly cold air, is light and brittle. (Chest, Gauntlets & Leggings)
Location/Where to Find
- Dropped by the Pontiff Knights in Irithyll of the Boreal Valley.
Notes and Tips
- Can be farmed in NG : From the Central Irithyll bonfire, go up the stairs where three Pontiff Knights are patrolling. It is possible to fight them one by one. First, stand still at the top of the stairs until the first patrolling Knight can see you and he will either rush on you or cast a spell and then rush. Once he's dead, run to the second Knight hidden at the top of a small staircase on the right and you can kill it before it reacts. The third Knight should have aggroed you at this point, but he will be casting spells into the railing of the staircase you're standing on. Kill the third one and go back to the bonfire.

I think this set fits and looks way better on the tall and lean pontiff knights. It seems kinda odd to me when put on the player.

Arm and Leg Pieces Complement almost any Set up. Use em quite often, Look Bad ass.

This armor dropped for me from the Scythe weilder before the Pontiff boss fight, in NG. Maybe this is a rare drop but I was using the Sages Rapier.

So disappointed after farming it for half an hour, no drapes like the NPCs

My time I saw these mobs I thought looked amazing, second I farmed after lothric knights. After farming for awhile crown drops, I equip it then fall to my knees as Donna Burke sings in the background. WHY! So they can give the Dancer set a veil and not this? My jimmies are severly rustled, it Ornsteins helm all over again.

Good god, these *****heads just wont drop their armor. No, that is incorrect, I have five of the Pontiff Knight Armor piece and one legpiece, but no gloves and no crown, and I've been farming these guys for two hours now.Granted, I only have 7 luck and I'm not using coins or the ring, but even so... The fire witch set dropped instantly, but these knights just wont give up their crowns.
