I really wanted to wear the pants, but... damn, the stats on them suck.

In comparison to the Elite Knight Leggings, it's literally worse in every regard. It weighs more, has less absorption across the board, and has less poise.

The only plus side is that you get slightly more Bleed, Poison, and Curse resistance, which is pointless 99.9% of the time.

There is a lot of armor in this game that just... doesn't have good stats for the weight. And it's a damn shame, because a lot of that armor looks really cool.

This set mixes nicely with Slave Knight’s. The leggings also goes well with Steel Soldier Helm and Slave Knight’s gauntlets and chest piece.

what happens if you kill hodrick at the pit of hollows

I killed him when he invaded me before CRGW, and when I arrived in the pit of hollows I found him dead. Is this a bug? Because this has never happened to me before. Plus his armor set and shield won't spawn, and Sirris is acting like he never died.

You know, the helm for this set goes really well with the Eastern Set chest and the Shadow gauntlets/leggings for a historically accurate Samurai build. The gold dome resembles (somewhat) the Nagaeboshi Kawari Kabuto, allowing one to channel their inner Samurai warrior, while still having good defences. I recommend the Uchigatana, Black Blade or Onikiri and Ubadachi for maximum historical accuracy. The Washing Pole would be ok, if the bloody scabbard wasn't carried on the side like a weird cartoon.

anyone know how much this armor set weighs i have like 15 vigor(including prisoners chain) and weilding a great sword is this a light or heavy armor set.

Is it at all possible to obtain the set by killing Hodrick Early? Wanted to make a low level hodrick build but don't want to screw it up and don't want to have to get through Irithyll, but do I have to? And no, I don't have people drop me things. That's cheating as far as I'm concerned.

To get his shield, you have to complete Sirris' questline, which includes talking to her twice in firelink shrine, helping her kill an invader on irithyll bridge and finally defeating Hodrick in the pit of hollows, keep in mind that if you kill him early, this will not prevent the final confrontation and you are still completely capable of finishing her story and getting both sets of armour and the shield, which you will find resting on his grave outside of firelink shrine, with Sirris found dead before it in typical dark souls fashion, allowing you to loot her, receiving the sunless talisman, which if I'm not mistaken is amazing for weapon buffs

I got invaded off a guy who one shot me who was wearing the full cos play set. I was only level 15, I know sl1 runs are done but, he would of had to of been an ace player and I never got that impression of him, plus if he was as low level as me he would have been over wieght.

only because the helmet has a conical shape doesn't mean that this set is related to that of Huntorias

I killed him early so when he gives you the mound-maker covenant item to see what he'd drop or if his armor would be sold at the shrine maiden and it was not, all he dropped was a homeward bone and said "My family...... Little sirris" even though I killed him sirris had no new dialogue from her first time visiting me.

You have to complete the siris questline, once you have done this, reload the area and the set will spawn next to the pit of hollows bonefire.P.s Killing hodrick before fully completing siris quest will not get you the set.

The def you get is pretty high and the armor not that heavy

after having made it to the pit (through cage escort process) and killed Hodrick, no loot was dropped; i then reloaded the area to see if i could return to some loot, but i was incapable of returning to the pit once Hodrick was already killed, so i inded up defeating the tree boss, still no loot too be found within the pit.(handmaiden also doesn't have it in stock, also have not gotten far enough on this character to see if the questline is still available for me after having killed Hodrick already)

Armor didn't drop nor is it sold by the handmaiden in my run where I have made Sirris hostile.

Anybody find this yet? It is used by the moundmaker npc, but I killed him and the hag isn't selling the set.
