Eleonora is a Weapon in Dark Souls 3.

A strange weapon found among malformed inhabitants of the Profaned Capital.

The Profaned Flame was triggered by the curse of these women, relatives of a certain oracle, but despite their culpability, they went on living, without any cares.

Skill: Feast Bell
Hold up axe and wave to emit a solemn chime to temporarily make weapons lacerating, and to restore HP for each hit.

In the running for worst axe because of it's weapon art. Takes forever and buff lasts no time at all. Interesting buff to bleed seems to mean it'd be good for aldrirch or watchdog invasions but no.

I guess it's a good twink weapon? Warrior can one hand it with knight's ring and deprived can do the same, just 2handed.

Worse version of Butcher's Knife you get later and is much harder to get. For some reason every Host who summons me into dungeon busts their ass trying to get this thing.

                  Cool name aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand that's it.
                  Seriously, D/E and no infusions.
Might as well be a ''Raw'' weapon.

When I was a noob, I wasted a slab on this. That was about two and a half years ago, but over 2k hours into DS3 later, it feel like a lifetime.

Fun fact, you don't need to do damage to regain HP. Hitting an opponent with any kind shield or hitting one of the in game enemies while they are dying works as long as dat DONGGGG buff is active.

A little late to the party, but does this thing stack well with the butcher's knife? I want to use the Eleonora's weapon art, then swap to the BK for extra HP recovery and bleed build-up. I'm also stacking the PLE ring, Sun Princess ring, and RotEE+3.

I'm surprised this weapon is so goddamn forgettable, it's all pretty decent for an axe and the laceration affect is very useful in some situations

                          • Anonymous

With the weapon art on you can get more HP back if you keep hitting the enemy after they die. Just like Rally in Bloodborne.

I'm using this weapon as an offhand with a glaive on my main. Holy crap. God damn, this thing is good for that. More range than a hand axe for the same stamina consumption. Someone with more knowledge than me, is this really as good as I think it is?

                              • I am thinking of making a Bard themed build using this and crystal chime for spell casting. I just cant figure out a good stat spread for 120 that would allow me to use this for damage and still have enough points for some basic spell casting. I'll only be using spells that do not scale from int and fth. I really like the idea of bells as it really feels like something a bard would use. Any insight or tips would be appreciated. :)

                                • So you could do a three-man Abyss watchers cosplay where one of you joins the gank each time this weapon art is used (and the last one is a purple phantom so they can attack the invader or host.) Just a concept.

If I used the buff with a blood infused weapon in my off hand, would it increase the bleed build up of that weapon? Or would it stay the same if it’s already blood infused?

                                    • Anonymous

this could have been faith scaling natraly. if this could be infused and faith scaling just like sunlight straight sword, then it could be one of the best faith weapons

                                      • I'm really sad :( I mean there's finally a one handed axe that looks sooo nice. And has a really cool weapon art. And then you get Max 450 something ar out of it?! Cause of that bad scaling and this cause of it's HP regen and bit bleeding - for 25 seconds? Why from software?! Why? I mean literally a C or B wouldn't be OP. Or make it buffable. But no, forget that. It has its WA and its a unique weapon - so pls put a C Or B in there that we can get more AR out of it. Pls. I'll give u a example: My lothric knight ss makes at +7 the same dmg! And this only at +7 - with: ( I know it's split blabla I talk about this later. 30int/faith 25 dex, 22 str. So not really sooo high stats if I had int/faith and dex in 60 and at +10 it has an A on int faith. That's Ar 590!! Lighting, Blessed and Sharp has an S. plus the crit for backstabs and riposte. So I know chaos/dark is split. But what if I make: 1 chaos 1 dark 1 lightning 1 crystal?! At 60 - dex/int/faith. And I make one sharp so can infuse it with what I want. I've always over 540 dmg. And now I have one for every enemy in the game - an 90% have a weakness - and I have the right weapon for their weakness! so it gets even stronger^^ If I hit an enemy with weak to fire - and I hit with my chaos ss - it's great! Same. With lightning and so on :D

Not buffed I was healing 18 per swing and after I got it to +4 I was healing 21 per swing. It’s not terrible for damage and it doesn’t take much stamina to swing so it seems like it’d be good for early game but it being locked behind the profaned capital goes really against that lol

                                          • For some reason this weapon jumped right into my inventory the minute I stepped into the swamp area filled with the centipede things, and the "Hand Hippo" that drops it was nowhere to be found. I'm guessing it must've clipped through the floor and died Fallout 76 style.

                                            • Anonymous

Even if it scales bad because its damage ar quiet high from the start, it scales. At 40STR/20DEX, it has an attack rating of 394. For its weapon art, it scales with luck so put 25 luck to have 57 bleeding.

                                              • It would be great if the weapon art had an aura or something to let you know when Feasting Bell is over. Besides that, heals on hit and causes bleed, obviously its raw damage won't be so great.

                                                • Anonymous

Just some stuff about the healing effect..
The HP gained after using the Weapon Art is 15 HP per hit, I maximized the stats on my character using Cheat Engine and tested it again, no stat improves the HP gain. Doesn't matter if you two hand, or one hand, it'll always be 15HP regained per hit. Weapon Art lasts approximately 25 seconds. You can do 18 two handed swings (270HP regained), or 20 one handed swings (300HP regained) in 25 seconds with the weapon with 40 Endurance. The weapon art takes 5 full seconds to cast. Maybe there's some ring or something that modifies the HP gain but I can't think of anything.

The description for this item almost seems to be talking about the disciples of the Witch of Izalith... Did they end up becoming the Monstrosities of Sin, then? I'm so confused...

                                                    • Anonymous

Important question. When you invade another world and use the weapon art can everyone in that world hear it? I ask because I can't hear it when I'm invading, and the main draw of using this weapon is to taunt people with the Feast Bell after beating them... kindly pointless if it doesn't even make any sound.

                                                      • Anonymous

Someone's claiming on the Lothric War Banner entry that on-hit effects (like Chaos Blade's self-damage and stuff) activate continously while the weapon art's active. If so, that could mean this weapon could become a very exploity one.

                                                        • Anonymous

Someone literally just 1 hit me with an r1 using eleonora. I dont think it was hacks, but I had 1000 health. I was weaing come cathedral knight gloves and legs with black hand chest and a regular helmet, wtf.

                                                          • Anonymous

I have a dex build with 16 str. If I slap a knight ring and two-hand it, I get 397 AR. The best AR I can get with axes and this build is 414 with a refined battle axe (without WA buff or resins and such...).More interestingly, at 20/8, it has the highest AR at 326 (not couting dragonslayer axe).Even at 40/40 when two handed, it has 433 AR vs 462 for battle axe. Of course it can't be buffed and its WA is of limited use in PvP...The WA can be very good in PvE, though!

                                                            • Anonymous

Not sure if other people have noticed but eleonora's feast bell allows the axe to cause bleed build up. The problem though is that when it builds up there is no damage from the bleed. I have tested this on the lycanthrope enemies in the crucifixion woods as they are highly susceptible to bleed, being bled in two hits from feast bell but no bleed damage actually occurs just the effect of bleed does which is the splash of blood from the enemy.

                                                              • Anonymous

Spent ages trying to get the thing so I could use it as bait for invaders and such by ringing the bell, but nobody can hear it! Even as the host. I'm on PC so I'm guessing its a bug exclusive to that.

                                                                • Anonymous

When googled, the 2nd most relevant answer was a short story by Edgar Allen Poe. Coincidence? Probably not.

                                                                  • Anonymous

As title says. It will only affect Eleonora, and if you're using two Eleonora, it will only affect the one you use to cast the buff.

                                                                    • Anonymous

                                                                      • Anonymous

The question is, does the hp restore stack with the butcher knife's hp restore passive? If so, that would make an amazing berzerker build with the eleonora as a side weapon. Use eleonora Active and then switch to the butcher knife. If you have enough time, use the butcher knife's passive to increase hp restore as well. I'm going to test this out, going to post if I get results.

                                                                        • Anonymous

                                                                          • Anonymous

                                                                            • Anonymous

                                                                              • Anonymous

I can't tell if its a glitch or a feature of the weapon but during the buff animation, if you look at your absorption, you'll notice that you are weaker to thrust attacks each time the bell rings and only then. Again I can't tell if its a glitch but it'd be a surprise if it wasn't.

                                                                                • Anonymous

                                                                                  • Anonymous

Personally, I think the Feast bell needs to be able to buff faster, it rings twice and each ring costs stamina, not to mention the effect should last longer. Its moveset is absolutely fine. This could be fixed by making "Feast Bell" into an offencive attack that buffs the weapon, Perhapse a thrust attack to make use of Elanoras spiked tip. Or simply turning the flat of the ax head to an opponent and smacking them with it like a teniss racket. The weapon has potential but it feels incomplete.

                                                                                    • Anonymous

I love the look of Eleonora and would have tried to use this weapon if it used Twinkling Titanite to upgrade. The fact that it uses Titanite Scales, the same used to upgrade BOSS weapons, is ridiculous. This weapon also cannot be infused or buffed in any way, meaning that it is stuck at D strength scaling. Eleonora had great potential as a weapon but it just falls short on too many things

I tried stacking it, it didn't work; you only get the one buff, no matter how many times you do it. It healed me for 25 points of health per hit. I don't know if it scales with vigor, but I sincerely doubt it does.

                                                                                        • Anonymous

Simple enough in its use but fast and effective. Scaling is kinda weak but hey, gives you an excuse to allocate stats into other stuff, and the upgraded base damage really isn't half bad considering how punchy it is.
