Ragged Mask is a Helm in Dark Souls 3.
Rag that covers the wearer's mouth.
Likely a makeshift item that helped reduce intake of various poisonous and noxious fumes.
Location/Where to Find
- Found on a body in Farron Keep. From the Farron Keep bonfire, go out and turn left. You should see several Rotten Slugs and a familiar white glow among them. Dispatch the slugs and obtain the mask from the corpse.

Notes and Tips
- Shares the same model as the Prisoner's Hood from Dark Souls Ⅱ that doesn't feature wrappings enveloping over the head.

I like to imagine a backstory for this .
Something like...
“This ragged mask was once worn by a kind hearted lonely hollow who fought bandits who raided innocent indigents & orphans.
This unknown hollow was popular among lower folks, the people would often leave basic necessities around the forest for this outlaw to pick up.
As every legend & great stories come to an end, the poor hollow was no exception.
Although some, point out that even after all the time passed he can be still be found around the forest around every twilight, some others however speak of an adopted son the hollow once cared for that is now continuing his father’s legacy.”
