Attire of pyromancers of the Great Swamp. Comprised of a leather crown and animal bones.
In the Great Swamp, it was thought that adorning oneself with natural fauna would provide protection from the flames of pyromancy.

this item is the most fashion souls item ever
like really. it goes with any outfit on any character, and *****, it may be completely useless defense-wise, but it makes any even remotely dark-themed character look a lot cooler.

This is incorrect. The Symbol of Avarice has physical resistance of 4.6 and weight of 11.0, giving the Symbol a physical resistance efficiency of ~.418.
