Gargoyle Flame Spear is a Weapon in Dark Souls 3.
Stone torch spear wielded by gargoyles of the Profaned Capital.
The Profaned Flame, which never goes out, imbues this weapon with a fire attack.
Skill: Kindled Charge
Hold spear at waist and charge at foe, using the momentum to transition to a fiery strong attack.
Notes and Tips:
- Cannot be Infused or Buffed.
- Reinforced with Titanite.
- Fire damage scales with INT/FTH independent of physical damage making this a potentially useful weapon for hybrid pyromancers with the correct stat allocation.
- Weapon Art stuns human targets in a similar manner to the Ringed Knight Paired Greatsword's Weapon Art.

Parameter Bonus: Strength, Dexterity,Magic, Fire, Lightning and Dark bonuses - The scaling multiplier applied to the [Attack: stat]. Scaling quality is from highest to lowest as follows: S/A/B/C/D/E.The higher the player's [Str, Dex, Mag, Fire, Light] stat, the higher the [Attack Bonus: Stat] is (found on the player status screen). The higher the scaling letter, the higher the percent multiplier applied to the [Attack: Stat].This resulting bonus damage is added to the base physical damage of the weapon and is shown in the equipment screen in blue numbers as a "+ X".
Durability: The weapon's HP, when the durability hits 0, the effectiveness of its attacks become weakened to the point of almost uselessness. When an items durability is low, a message will come up saying "Weapon At Risk!" at this point the weapon does not perform at it's best.
Weight: How much the item weights when equipped.
Stability: How well the player keeps stance after being hit
Attack Type: Defines what kind of swing set the weapon has: Regular(R), Thrust(T), Slash(Sl), Strike(St)

I tested every spear poke against a wall and this one had the furthest collision reach. Could anyone confirm this?

Need more testing but it seem that it has the same "system" than the reaper. If you hit the monster with the tip, it does more. Damage....

If you are a Dex pyro, then this weapon is good, but if you have strength, go for the hammer instead. Both are great.

I see people complaining about fighting this weapon all the time and all I'm going to say is use a shield you don't need to only use a cestus for parries

Still a potent weapon to annoy and poke those cowardly run away hosts. Can confirm.
Many elitist hosts who gank in Pontiffs try to flee to Aldrich to avoid death after their phantoms die. They never make it past the Anor Londo bonfire when I use this thing. :)

I was level 21 at the bonfire where you first encounter Anri in the crucifixion woods, I was talking to her and an invader appears with this weapon and attacks me, interrupting the encounter and i couldn't do a thing the range was ridiculous, i died in two hits, how did that player have the gargoyle spear and still invade a level 21 player.

Better split damage, better overall damage, longer, and requires less stats than Dragonslayer Spear. Longest weapon in the game, quick attacks, works with Leo ring and even has a special WA.

This weapon is incredible. Amazing range, fast attacks, and the only enemy who has a chance are people who can parry. I just fought in a fight club at irithyll and killed around 15 people. I could've kept going but my power went out. I have pyromancy/warrior build with 50strength, 40dex, 45 int, and 30 faith. If you have these, then for gods sake put in a slab for the beast.

Confirmed longest reaching spear in the game (even longer than pikes), plus the damage is solid. If you're going to use a spear in this game I'd suggest either this or Dragonslayer Spear, but I prefer this because the damage probably winds up ultimately being around the same but this one is longer than all of the others.

GFS +10 outdamages all other Fire-infused polearms (that I've come across) and is competitive with many Chaos versions. The weapon art isn't the best, but it's by no means awful - and it is spectacular.I tend to avoid fire in PVP since fire resistance is more common than others, but for PVE it's an amazing fiery option. Also: built-in torch!
Its probably not that effective but who cares, its so cool. Its worth trying just for it.Remember, you have to press R2 in the middle of the L2 animation to get the proper move to come out.
