Something I noticed recently using the Character Planner. Both Fireball and Fire Orb show a complex relationship with damage and INT/WIS and the upgrade on the pyromancy flame. For example:
=> With +0 or +1 on the catalyst, these two spells will show no damage increase with FTH until INT .GTE. 22; both show damage increases with INT beginning with 15.
=> With +3 on the catalyst, these two spells will show no damage increase with FTH until INT .GTE. 22; both show damage increases with INT beginning with 15.

So it would seem that low-level Pyromancers should focus initially on INT (or bringing the physical stats up to preferred values) since Cornyx is not found until somewhat through TUS (though one can make a quick run to him) to upgrade the PF in any case. Thus, bring INT to 22 before leveling FTH to catch up -- at least whist the two "fire ball" spells are the primary go-to's.

bruh , this is the emptiest comment section i’ve seen on the wiki...... my thing to say? , if you dont want to level attunement/int/faith and need fire damage for pus of man or whatever , its a cheap option that has more style than traditional bomb throwers... it also has a low stamina cost and rechargeable stamina during charging which allow one to spam this little guy around for harassment or of pyromaniac tendencies

this little guy can be a useful side tool for enemies highly sensitive to fire

cost little stamina and allow the caster to regen stamina during charge , which allow spam for harassment or pyromaniac tendencies

I just realized why I have so much trouble getting spells other then pyromancies to work in my builds. The spell buff multiplier seems to be better in general for pyromancies then other spell types. The fireball spells in particular are very strong even at low levels, which is something I struggled with when trying sorceries. Not that I'm complaining. I had a blast with my pyromancer run.

With very low casting time, and medium damage (exactly between soul and heavy soul arrows) it is much better start than what mage gets. Although you need several casts to kill a single knight, it's combat useful, with potential to one shot early weak enemies.
