Miracle once cherished by cleric knights. Gradually restores HP.

Replenishment is a relic of the old Lloyd faith, whose cleric knights were unfaltering in battle.

Notes

  • Restores 295 HP in total with 5 HP per second over the course of its duration (first second is not triggered).
    • The health restored per FP balances out at about 9.83 HP/FP.
    • This is the most HP-FP efficient regeneration Miracle.
  • Stacks with Gentle Prayer.
  • Unaffected by Spell Buff, Faith, or Miracle boosting rings.
  • Lingering Dragoncrest Ring increases its duration. However, it does not change the total amount healed (295 HP). Instead, the spell lasts longer, but the HP per second is reduced.
  • The low faith requirement of this spell means it can be useful on a non-caster build, however the stat investment to use balance isn't especially worth it.

As of the date of this post, this interaction is no longer true: "Lingering Dragoncrest Ring increases its duration. [...]" I was at 604 HP with the ring equipped, cast this and ended at 899 HP, implying that the ring no longer has any effect on this spell at all. It neither increases its duration or reduces the 5 HP/s. Happy regenning!

I am using Sun princess Ring, sacred chime of fillianore's Pray for Favor skill, Ethereal Oak Shield and Blessed weapon. I just found out replenishment stacks with all of it. With 18 faith and 14 attunement you can become wolverine too.

Hello! When casting this spell, you become blessed. Tested in catacombs of carthus, if is active, skeletons don't revive.

15 faith and one attunement slot is too much investment for non-casters

Meanwhile everyone I see has Tears of denial which has the same faith rew and needs TWO slots...

Suns princess ring, ancient dragon shield and this. Plus ring of fervor 3, ring of steel protection 3 and havles and paired greatswords. I've yet to be defeated as a church guardian boss. Ringed Guardian is my name i play on pc. Same name on steam. Contact me for some bossy pvp. Will be fun!

The Lingering Dragonccrest Ring increases the duration... BUT, not the amount healed. What an actual cluster-***** of effects, lol.

This spell is really good in the right application, since it completely overrwrites the effect of poison. If your in the swamp or against foes that have poison as the main thing(basically any situation with poison) simply cast this and you dont even need to worry about getting rid of being poisoned.

Decent in swamp if you don't want to constantly cast cure. It mitigates poison damage which is nice, but drains a lot of FP which is not nice.

So, replenishment actually isn't useless at all. I see comparisons being made to heal/etc. This is a false comparison, replenishment is a regen spell. Yes, heal is more cost effective, but that's besides the point, it's a quick regen spell that'll give you hp back as you fight whether pve or pvp. It's like saying "why use sunlight spear? Just uselightning arrow.", because they're different and have different applications. I've also heard, "well bountiful light is better". Yeah. It is better. You also don't get it till later. Replenishment is useful early, when you get it. You have less hp so the less regen/sec is fine. If we're talking late game, you can use it as a passive regen in pve if you don't feel like blowing out your fp, only using bountiful light in pvp. It saves estus. Then there're the more specific cases where the player is mostly melee, has low fp, but wants a regen for the reasons stated above, estus saver/good mid-battle, so they choose replenishment for the lower fp cost. Replenishment is an invaluable tool early and still has it's applications late game. The reason you'd ever choose replenishment over bountiful light is context, mostly fp cost concerns. If you're only missing a little health it might feel better to use replenishment for the lower fp cost.

This is just really bad game design. Why would it lower the heal rate for the lingering dragoncrest ring? It would've already been balanced since the healing rate is so slow and it would take up a ring slot as well. There's literally no good reason to do that, in fact it's just unbalanced now since there's no reason to use the miracle (bountiful is a better version that isn't affected by the ring at all so now replenishment is just useless in non-low level pvp or pve). So it actually would've just been more balanced if it didn't do anything to replenishment at all since the ring wouldn't have a con to using it with the miracle, making the ring less useful and the miracle pointless compared to other healing miracles in most pve and pvp situations. Why do you hate miracle builds Miyazaki :'(

How about sun priestess ring, shield that regens health (forgot the name but its in ashes of ariandel) and this spell :)

filianore chime's skill makes this spell.. pointless, all u need is 13 faith plus priestess ring to reach 18 faith, use it, 4 hp/sec for u and allies for just 18 fp

tho u can stack them, but if u just want some quick minor regen that doesnt need u to hold a chime, use this instead of replenishment

Using lingering dragoncrest reduces healing/sec and for lingering dragoncrest+1 the last tick is not done so it heals 5 less hp just saying also you can use even chimes you do not have enough stats for and this spell will not be nerfed since it is not dependent of spell buff at all unlike gentle prayer for which you must have stats for the healing to work

                              • why does this game have so many useless spells?this heals for 5 HP less than "heal" but costs significantly more FP, and also you have to wait a full minute to receive the healor you could just take heal and forget it.
