How do you play a build when an item that is central to the build is so late in the game? I'm trying to do a hollow/quality/luck build, but my weapons are so underpowered and my stat distribution is spread so thin that it's just turned into a strength build for most of the playthrough. I don't plan on playing NG+. Matter a fact after I'm done with this playthrough the game is getting shelved, because I've been playing for over 200 hours most of which has been spent restarting because of the same problem I just mentioned.

I got the coal but I never gave it up now I can't give it to Andre and it's not with me. Anyone have a thought on why?

Why do people use the dark path instead of just going for refined? Split damage is bad, right?

y'know what they should have done, instead of the regular pick up noise for this, they should have used the bloodborne pick up noise, to really signify the feeling of "you got this item, but are you sure you want it?"

Andre is lying, there is no more "Abyss" in this skill than in any other human being. Description says "Remnants of the fire that burned down the Profaned Capital", and "The Profaned Capital was consumed by fire after Yhorm the Giant became a Lord of Cinder. The fire, born of the sky, is said to have incinerated naught but human flesh". In other words, Yhorm created Profaned Flame by burning down the capital when he become Lord of Cinder, with all "naughty humans" who was inside the capital (all corpses in the room before Yhorm". Description of Jailers items state that they are few survivors of the Flame.

The damn rats in Irithyll Dungeon and Smouldering Lake will eat a low level character alive... so damn annoying, the horror if FS had though about using more rats in later game with more damage and aggro attacks...
