In my opinion, this is the best curved sword in Dark Souls 3. Just by virtue of having the curved sword moveset it is a beast in PVP. The weapon skill is iconic and deadly, overall the most well rounded curved sword. I personally use this with a buff build where I use base stats and buff the blade with Darkmoon Blade at 50 Faith. The damage is disgusting, and the weapon art will basically delete anything that gets hit by it, which is often. This was always a favorite of mine for Spear of the Church invasions. Fantastic weapon!

Try WA into jumping attack. Does more damage and uses no FP, but costs more stamina. Still a true combo, and if you go for an R1 after the combo, you'll have priority over EVERYTHING, including Estoc and Curved sword kicks.

i was duing some duals and this guy whith the twin door sheilds tryed to block the weapon art but because i had the knight slayers ring i broke his guard every time! me personaly have never used the doors so if this is normal for them i dont know why peaple hype them up, but if not..........

A solid all-around weapon. The PKCS for Dark builds. I personally like to use it with a WA shield, 1H R1 R1 R2 seems to combo, and you still have one-button access to the WA for rollcatching or wakeup punish.

I really like the look of this weapon. Haven't used Curved Swords before so is this a good weapon to get used to their Playstyle? Or should I try another weapon of that category first?

I think this weapon art is inspired by Ciaran's weapons from Dark Souls 1. There is an item description for the gold tracer so most likely when the weapon was cut, they reused the ability for a new weapon.

This weapon has a r2 + wa + r2 truecombo. Tested with chaos infused sabre on drakeblood knight for over 700 damage

This used to be a great weapon. Now it's very average and there are much better options for any build. Should not have been nerfed IMO but then again, I think 75% of nerfed weapons should not have been.

Not an amazing weapon by any means, but knowing how to use a niche can be all the difference. I use this as backup for my greatswords that don't have stance WA, so i can still quickly break a shield if need be. Most blockers don't expect to be guard broken by a curved sword, and the black knight sword isn't any help with its WA. That's where this comes in handy, although there's definitely more practical options the sabre will always look cool

This may not be as fast as the flip curved swords (i.e. flip curved swords can roll catch on reaction extremely well rather than having to predict it), but what makes the Follower's Sabre really good is that the 1H moveset is far better than the 1H moveset of PKCS for example, letting you use support (spells, crossbow, shields, parry tools) more effectively.

Good and fast, can really recommend. Buffing this with Rose of Ariandel, adding another 200 damage. One of the easiest weapons to butter through non-heavy targets, while retaining momentum and stamina. If you don't wanna buff manually, just infuse with lightning or so, at a minor, potential damage loss.

I really like this weapon. I didn't want to go with longsword again so I was looking for another weapon. I tried some others but I wasn't feeling them. I somewhat randomly decided to rush this weapon (my character was low level) and I fell in love with it. It has a practical and fun moveset, is fast, and it's R1 is so broad that I constantly hit enemies even when they do their dodge abilities. Plus it looks cool.

Really good weapon, miles more useful weapon art than the carthus curved sword. Just takes a bit of skill to use efficiently as with all curved swords as you can't just poise through attacks and trades usually are not in your favor, just know when to attack and when to not, harder than it sounds lol.
