Pickaxe is a Weapon in Dark Souls 3.

Tool used by a miner for digging up earth. Not intended for use in battle.

Yet the strong downward swing of this tool once shattered large boulders, and easily punctures weaker armor.

Skill: Galvanize
Temporarily boosts stamina recovery speed by sheer force of will, which an old miner needed to get through the day.

Notes and Tips:

Can be Infused and Buffed.
Reinforced with Titanite.
The Pickaxe has a weapon range of 34.1313xl on the 1h R1, and 29.1291xl on the 2h R1. It is the shortest Great Hammer in the game.
Has the moveset of a Greataxe weapon when two-handed despite being classified as a Great Hammer.
The Pickaxe has uniquely strange parry data compared to both Great Hammers and Greataxes.
- The 2h R2 can be parried, even though the 2h R1 cannot be parried.
- The 1h rolling attack cannot be parried, but the 2h rolling attack can be parried.
Only deals thrusting damage; synergizes well with the Leo Ring.
Scales poorly with elemental infusions.
Its counter-attack capabilities, combined with Galvanize, make for a good enchantable physical infusion weapon.

Parameter Bonus: Strength, Dexterity,Magic, Fire, Lightning and Dark bonuses - The scaling multiplier applied to the [Attack: stat]. Scaling quality is from highest to lowest as follows: S/A/B/C/D/E.The higher the player's [Str, Dex, Mag, Fire, Light] stat, the higher the [Attack Bonus: Stat] is (found on the player status screen). The higher the scaling letter, the higher the percent multiplier applied to the [Attack: Stat].This resulting bonus damage is added to the base physical damage of the weapon and is shown in the equipment screen in blue numbers as a "+ X".
Durability: The weapon's HP, when the durability hits 0, the effectiveness of its attacks become weakened to the point of almost uselessness. When an items durability is low, a message will come up saying "Weapon At Risk!" at this point the weapon does not perform at it's best.

  listed raw infusion values appear to be lower here than in-game. Ex: at +6 im showing 310 in game while the table is currently showing 282. raw infusion DR seem off as well (higher here than ingame).

  It doesn't matter if you have iron flesh + perseverance, do NOT trade against this. Not even with the rkpgs. All it takes is leo ring to ruin your day.

  Slow and low damage. Kinda disappointed. Wish the WA gave it the swing speed of the club instead of stamina regen. Would make sense too since it's used by miners.

  it should be noted that it actually uses the great machete moveset, not the normal greataxe moveset. This does mean it lacks an R1+R1 true combo when two handed. Source: I used this weapon in duels for a few hours to get gold dueling with it and countless people managed to roll out of the first R1 despite taking hitstun and having 0 lag. Never had that happen for any other weapon other than the great machetes and after looking carefully at it's animation it does appear to be swung in the same manner as the machetes as oppose to normal greataxes.

  Great for PvP, but wouldn't recommend it for PvE. The amount of damage it does doesn't justify the slow swing speed. It's alright if you are picking it for its low stats, shorter range and lower weight, but other than those reasons I wouldn't recommend it over other weapons.

  It's worth mentioning that the weapon art has poise throughout the animation. If you time it right, you can use it to eat a hit and start swinging right away.
