Cinders of a Lord Usage
- Place upon the thrones of the Lords of Cinder in Firelink Shrine after defeating them.
Cinders of a Lord Locations
- Defeat Abyss Watchers
- Defeat Yhorm the Giant
- Defeat Aldrich, Devourer of Gods
- Defeat Lorian, Elder Prince and Lothric, Younger Prince
Notes
- Spoiler:Ludleth of Courland becomes Cinders towards the end of the game by igniting himself during the ritual of ash involving the player.
- There seems to be a relatively common bug where Cinders will not drop upon slaying one of the four Lords. May be caused by carrying 99 of those Lords' souls. (Needs confirmation)

Hi guys, it seems I hade a glitch with the lothric cinders. It wasn't on my invertory at all, I checked and I couldnt insert it on the throne. I freaked out a little! But somehow I could insert it in the throne. I just walked around a little bit and the option popped out when I was almost falling from the throne plate. I rebooted the game before doing so. I hope it helps.

I found that if you stand near the npc at the King of Lothric throne and talk to him sometimes it would have the (switch actions) option on him to allow you to offer the cinder.

I freaked out when i could n't offer the twin princes cinder, but it seems like you shouldnt be on the pedestal, but rather in front of it.

I can't put the Cinders of a Lord from the Twin Princes on the throne. Is it a glitch, or that obviously the throne is for Holy King Lothric (Last hope of his line)?

Some suggestions for trivia: Unlike the other cinders, the cinders of the Abyss Watchers contains multiple skulls, likely in reference to their shared blood. Aldritch's cinders may be the skull of his true body rather than Gywndolin, as it also appears caved in and filled with maggots. The skull in Yhorms cinders is proportionally larger than his actual skull, in comparison to his "crown". The Twin Princes cinders only contains one head despite it being a duo, and this head is in pristine condition, rather than being a skull.

similar for me, i received the cinders of a lord but i cant place it on a throne, this bug isnt fixed in the new patch, pls help

I noticed I never received cinders of Lord from abyss in my inventory. Later on, after defeating yhorm I received a cinder in my inventory. I checked my inventry and had only 1 cinder, but when I went to firelink I was able to place a cinder in yhorm and abyss watcher throne even though I technically only had one on me.

I noticed I wasn't receiving Cinders after placing Abyss watchers cinders. I did not have 99 Lord's souls like the trivia suggests. It may be worth noting that when I defeated the next lord of cinder, I died at the same time and had to do it over. Perhaps this may have something to do with it?

abyss watchers did not drop cinder of a lord and now i can't beat the game FML

Last lord of cinder didn't drop. Game is bugged and now I can finish the game.

Game is currently bugged and Cinders of Lord may not drop from Lords. No idea what triggers this, but I did not receive one from Abyss Watchers, and a friend did not receive one from Yhorm. I was solo, he had help.
Do lords die after being defeated? I think not.
