Why tf is the strongest magic based melee weapon a ****ing greatsword?

I think increasing this stat should also increase your lock-on range. Kinda stupid that you have plenty of ranged attacks but still have to be less than 5 meters from your target.

The Scholar Ring can increase the intelligence, but is there a weapon that can do it as well?

1 pt of magic resist up until 30 then 2 pts of magic resist between 30 and 60 then 1.25 pt of magic resist between 60 and 85 then 1 pt after that.

i find it rather irritating that leveling endurance to 99 gets you very little stamina to show for it after level 40. Went to reallocate my skills and thought id quickly see what stats you get at 99 skill levels, although they were all pretty disappointing, endurance seemed to be the worst of any skill getting it to 99. After a certain point, it was several levels before i saw even one point of stamina added... bit under-kill if you ask me, especially seeing as FP can go to incredible numbers compared to stamina

Intelligence is useful for buffing your attack power with magic weapon, great magic weapon,or crystal weapon to where the scaling can reach 500 or lower.

Is it worth spending points above 60 Intelligence when your in lvl 100 / 120 level range?

Increasing the intelligence stat barely seems to increase damage on spells or weapons like immolation tinder or mlgs

From what I've noticed playing around with the fextra life build calculator, the intelligence caps are dependent on the type of damage you want to deal. for magic damage (sorceries) the soft cap is 60, but for fire damage (pyromancies) the soft cap is going to be 30 intelligence. Likewise, for dark damage the soft faith cap is 30, but for lightning damage, the soft faith cap is 60. This theory has no backing of in-game testing and simply what I've noticed playing around with values on the fextra life calculator.

60 is the hard cap and you receive minimal returns after this, with the "court sorcerer's staff" you get 238 magic buff.
The true easy mode of ALL souls games.
