Sacrilegious miracle of the Sable Church of Londor.
Bless corpses, transforming them into traps.
Londor, the Hollow Realm, is a society of undead, comprised of the corpses and shades of those who led unsavory lives. Is such blessing really something one must ponder?
How to Get Dead Again in Dark Souls 3
- Bought from Irina of Carim or Karla for 5,000 souls, after giving either the Londor Braille Divine Tome.
Dark Souls 3 Dead Again Notes, Tips & Trivia
- Since damage is based directly off your faith stat (See Below), the talisman or chime used, and the spellbuff it has, is entirely irrelevant.
- Corpses will explode after a short delay, and disappear after exploding. "Traps" is probably not the best word to describe it, as the corpses will explode after casting regardless of whether or not anything is actually in range.
- Will not work unless character can interact with enemies in the world. For example, an invader will not be able to effectively cast this miracle on corpses unless the host has used a Seed of a Giant Tree.
- The spell will only affect up to 3 corpses at a time.
- damage dealt is entirely based off of your FTH stat, and is unchanged by your spell buff. see stats below.
Damage statistics:
(damage numbers are for before defense and absorption.)
- 23-29 FTH: 350 damage per body.
- 30-39 FTH: 450 damage per body.
- 40-49 FTH: 550 damage per body.
- 50-59 FTH: 650 damage per body.
- 60-69 FTH: 710 damage per body.
- 70-79 FTH: 770 damage per body.
- 80-99 FTH: 830 damage per body.

Ahh a spell perhaps only used by cheeky hosts looking to troll some invaders.

I was very disappointed with how they nerfed the damage and visual effects of this spell in this game. In DS2 it deals 2000+ damage with just 3 corpses and it looks like you just dropped a nuke on top of the enemies, the entire screen gets covered in smoke and dark flames and a very loud explosion sound breaks the silence. In this game it just makes a tiny cloud of purple smoke.

Another From weapon / spell made almost completely redundant, especially as an invader. Oh what could have been

does Filianore's chime increase the range you can explode corpses with this?
- Anonymous
would've actually broken the mold and been good if it didn't make the corpses disappear and reduce this to a more telegraphed move than friedes scythes l2

This spell is extremely cool but also extremely impractical, the setup required to use it efficively makes it very damanding, that incombination with its lackluster damage (if you don't have extremely high faith) and AoE makes it probably the least used spell in this game

dead again can be used if a seed is active. there is one type of mob an invader can use without a seed though. the hallows the dogs kill in the undead settlement can be used as an invader without a seed.

if you want some good videos on the spell check out clognog on youtube

yep i have been doing alot with it, even blowing up chase the bro.
i tested it and i was right. it has 0 actual scaling, and you can use it with any spellbuff and it deals the same damage based off your actual faith stat.

in the Note section:
"This spell deals dark damage, and as such will be more powerful when cast with the Sunless Talisman or Caitha's Chime with high Faith."
then again:
"damage dealt is entirely based off of your FTH stat, and is unchanged by your spell buff. see stats below."
I'm strongly leaning towards regarding the wiki for the airheads and the fandom for people with enough brain cells to be anable to bear with whats being said here

To that one host who killed ChasetheBro with this miracle: God bless you. You are an inspiration to us all

Does this spell benefit from the range boost from Filianore's Chime? I know Vow of Silence does but I have not tested on this.

I wish that this mentioned that this spell came from Dark Souls 2. People shouldn't be thinking that Dark Souls 3 gets credit for this unique spell.

It took me the longest time to figure out how the hell this Miracle worked. I just could not figure out what it was supposed to be doing

Does this blow up the eldest prince Lothric in the twin princes boss fight?

When you're playing hide and seek, you can use this to hide bodies in order to be more sneaky

This spell 1 shots players if they walk into 3 corpse and people are whining.

Dmg is dependent only on faith and int using a white hair talisman+0 and a sunless talisman+5 at 30/30 int/fth. I deal 515 dmg with both.
- Anonymous
Come on Miyazaki, you could've allowed this spell to work on corpses regardless of if you're under the effects of the Seed or not. Just like how Vow of Silence is indiscriminate.

Hopefully this gives somebody a baseline on damage: Testing on beginning area hollows using Crystal Chime at 237 spell buff, 99 int/fth, one corpse does 911 damage. Caitha's Chime at 336 spell buff yields 911 damage. Sunless Talisman at 331 spell buff yields 911 damage. No damage boosting rings or buffs were used, seems to not care about spell buff or catalyst type, solely stat based damage.

Influenced by Dark Clutch Ring and Blindfold mask only: doesn't gain more AR from Sunless Talisman or Caitha's Chime (seems it was changed in the last patch, because before TRC it does), dont scaling with Faith or Int. Range can be increased by Sacred Chime of Filianore as well as VoS (~25%), but better use it with Sunlight talisman against ganks (if seed was used) or invaders. Good for throlling as summoned purple too.

any spell that transforms things into traps is good in my book

Literally just make it so invaders can use it and it'd be meta af. Can you imagine? Being able to blow up any dead hollows in the area? Ds2 was like this, but ds3 would be worse with how everything is laid out.

Without this being put down in an area before battle, (similar to how V.o.S SHOULD WORK) it's pointless. Without that and(or) Proximity fuses it's worthless. It's not worth the Slot/Cast in Battle. Only use it has is Cosmetic; Remove bodies for captures.

Praise Miyazaki! Three games in this franchise and the geniuses behind it still haven't figured out that utterly worthless crap like this spell is, in fact, unnecessary for a game and doesn't need to be thrown in with no attempt to make it worthwhile. You'd think maybe one person could have come up with literally any alternative for this or a way to make it at least USABLE. Nah, instead let's just waste people's time and put our effort into coding and animating something nobody will ever use or care to use! AAA+

15 int should be 5 int because you'd have to be an idiot to consider this worth using

yet another one of fromsofts jokes. there was so many whiners from ds2 saying magic is too powerful, now all the spells suck.
- Anonymous
This'd be nice if you could use it while invading without the host having to seed anything. Would be neat against gankers who usually clear out an area first.

Never even knew this was in the game. It just slid by unnoticed.

“Hi! I’m Billy Hollow and I’m here to tell you about an amazing new dark miracle just released by the Sable Church that will clean up your corpse infested home with just one cast! That’s right, just one cast!
For example - You’ve killed all those pesky hollows loitering all around and feel like inviting over some Sun Bros, but your area is covered in dead hollows! That’s a big problem! Aside from ugliness, they tend to cling to anyone who walks by and flop all around like a rag doll, disgusting!
You want to clean up the place but it take hours to try and move the rag doll corpses to pile, by time you got all them hollows stacked you’re too tired to do anything else, major let down! With this new dark miracle, just cast it upon the ground and presto! Those unsightly Hollow corpses turn into smoke leaving the area clean!
Order now and for just one payment of 2500 souls, you get this dark miracle along with a customer satisfaction guarantee!
ORDER RIGHT NOW!”
(Footnote announcement) General side effect may include instant death for Mad phantoms upon contact of blessed corpses, The Church of Londor is not responsible for any untimely deaths of users or invaders when using this miracle. User caution is advised!
Lol! Sorry, it’s the only reason I use this miracle. Just to remove the dead bodies and really nothing else. It would have been better if the bodies didn’t vanish but oh well.

the damage is amazing but it just cant really be setup well, I think they should make it work like it in did in ds2, still 3 enemies at a time but like, if you kill an invader it will leave a "body" for everyone who was currently in the game. that would make it amazing even with only being able to use it once per body
- Anonymous
Oh the setup on dark souls 2. Kill 10 or 12 of the royal swordsman in the Bastille, get invaded and lure them in the middle, then instant kill.
- Anonymous
Is the damage affected by rings? It should make certain enemys explode on contact. I can't seem to have fun with this spell
- Anonymous
Why is this so useless?
they could have had dark miracle like resonant soul and great resonant soul instead of this....

It does about 3700 damage on hollows firelink shrine. Int 26 Faith 23 crystal chime

Used to use this hex to deal with those annoying lion warriors. Pile up the bodies and BOOM!Hopefully it still has its kick.
- Anonymous
The blast radius is tiny this time. Anyone taking damage needs to pretty much be standing on the corpse itself. And If you are invading, it won't work on any corpses period.
So it's not a mine, but a time delayed bomb. If only it' a mine.
