Notes & Information

  • Unleash Dragon has the same name on both weapons, but have different effects. Tailbone Short Sword's Unleash Dragon is reminiscent of the Drake Sword's strong attack and Black Serpent, with a shockwave traveling on the ground with slight tracking. Tailbone Spear's Unleash Dragon is a windbox extending from the spear.
    • Both versions of Unleash Dragon has lingering hitboxes, allowing it to punish panic rolls if timed and read correctly.
  • The Tailbone Spear's Unleash Dragon has the ability to pass through walls.

      Let's get this party started - the Unleash Dragon ability launches a blast forward, with range around 75% of the lock-on distance. Enemies struck by this blast will often be sent flying or staggered. If an enemy struck by the blast then flies into another part of the blast, it appears to be possible to deal damage with it multiple times. Damage scales with weapon upgrade level. Blast behavior varies based on weapon.The Tailbone Short Sword appears to be limited to launching the blast straight away from the user, along the ground. It cannot go through walls, but it will travel similarly to the Black Serpent Pyromancy.The Tailbone Spear can be aimed by the camera as well. This blast can be sent through walls.
