Irithyl Dungeon shard is wrong. if you follow the directions. It'll lead you to a mimic, yes, but when killed it drops The Symbol of Avarice.

I missed the one in the chest in Anor Londo in the room before the Aldrich boss battle. The big room where you fight the deep accursed creature.. it is certainly tucked away there in that chest. I’d check this location if anyone is missing just one. It’s the sneakiest in my opinion. Can barely see the chest in the dim light tucked behind a column in the nook of a staircase! Ran past it numerous times going to fight Aldrich smh

I feel like they should’ve made the Estus Flask count an even 14 or 16. Just seems wonky having that odd one left out of the equation during invasions.

For anyone confused about the Golden Winged Knight shard, if you approach the rooftop WITHOUT going up the stairs and triggering the knights to drop, run to your right to circle the rooftop. Halfway around the roof, you'll get blocked off by a railing. Run and jump diagonally over the railing (like the tree in firelink to get on the roof) and you'll be on an extended rooftop. It's at the very end of that area. That's the last one that was missing for me. You can also kill/run past the knights and use the staircase opposite of where you started. The description made me think I had to go to the center of the building with the ladder and was driving me nuts lol.

I found on another site for the missing 15 shard, go to grand archive, take the elevator up to the 3 gold wing knight. Circle around the roof that they land on, until you're facing top of the stair and the ladder, behind you should be an extended roof platform. that where I found my missing one. It not on the list.

Twice now I've been screwed out of shards. The shard in Road of Sacrifices and from the mimic in Irithyll Dungeon have both disappeared from my inventory. I have 10 now when I should have 12. Anyone know what might be causing it? Guess I'll see some use from those NG+ shards after all.

So what do I do with them after maximizing my Estus count? I can't sell any I find in NG+, so can I just ditch them somewhere? Because they're getting to be pretty worthless baggage... Man, I miss in Bloodborne how single-use items would be replaced with Madman's Knowledge in NG+. Don't know why they didn't carry something like that over into DS3.

...There's more than one mimic chest in Irithyll, silly. It's the one past the 3 relatively human enemies with weaponry.

High Wall of Lothric: On an anvil in the room where you get the Cell Key
Undead Settlement: By the burning tree with worshipping undead. This is to the left of the Undead Settlement bonfire, past the house
Road of Sacrifices: From the Crucifixion Woods bonfire head towards the Crystal Sage. Pass under the small bridge. The shard will be on the left side of the ruins near a fire that has two Lycanthrope.
Farron Keep: Go straight out from the starting bonfire. The shard is near a fallen tower guarded by slugs. (video)
Cathedral of the Deep: Right outside the Cleansing Chapel bonfire where enemies are praying
Smouldering Lake: On a body near a hole from the Old King's Antechamber bonfire. Look for an illusionary wall in the bonfire room. (video)
Irithyll Dungeon: From the bonfire, walk forward into the dungeon and turn right. Now go straight, head through the locked gate, and then drop down. Go right into the room and there should be a chest which is a mimic that contains the shard.
Anor Londo: In a chest on the first floor of the large dark room with the Deacons (before the Aldrich fog wall). Enter from the double doors and hug the left wall to find it.
High Wall of Lothric/Consumed King's Garden: From Dancer of the Boreal Valley bonfire, climb up ladder and go first left. Use the elevator and jump out halfway. Estus Shard is down the stairs to the right.
Lothric Castle: From Grand Archives bonfire, on the top of Lothric Castle near the Winged Knights. From the ladder that takes you to the Hunter's Ring you will see an archway that leads to a lower roof/balcony. Estus Shard will be found all the way out near the railing.
Firelink Shrine: Purchase the Tower Key and get to the bridge that overlooks the Shrine. Drop down and find a window that allows you to get inside and get the shard on the rafters. (Alternatively go upstairs and outside and find the tree near the raised area with loot on it, then run up the tree and jump onto the raised area - no key needed!)

There is one located in the upper beams towards the ceiling to the left of Pump-a-rums indoor nest. You have to unlock the tower in order to reach this place. After unlocking the tower head up the stairs to the broken bridge,Then drop down onto the rooftops and you'll see pump-a-rum's outdoor nest,Run past it and drop down onto the lower rooftops,Then look for the opening that will lead you indoors to the firelink shrine,There will be walkable beams similar to the upper part of the Cathedral of the deep,To the left of the indoor nest, a corpse will be hanging off the edge slightly and will contain an estus shard when grabbed.

I had the thought that maybe you were able to give unused estus shards to a friend and that friend could give them to a lower level so you can get 15 Estus Flasks before you even fight Vordt for the first time..

On my First play through I gained already 13 of those estus shards, and didn't get the trophy. Also one is missing here. The one from Catacombs.Area: Catacombs of CarthusHow to get: Spawn at the Demon Ruins bonfire. Go down the stairs and to the right. Continue all the way to the end of the hall, then turn left and through the passage. Turn left again at the end of the room, then left once you’re in the corridor. I think there must be more than 12 shards, because I'm at 11 Estus and have yet to get the shards in Irithyll Dungeon, Anor Londo, High Wall/Garden, or Grand Archives. I have no idea where I got the ones not on this list though, I'll have to make another character to truly find that out.

There is a shortcut to get the shard without the bell key. Neat the bell tower is a slanted white tree that you can kinda run up and quickly turn and jump to get on the roof.
