SL60, absolutely cannot stand this guy. Absurd health, absurd poise, and if he catches me once it's like 80% he'll combo me to death. Sure, his swings are slow and I have plenty of opportunity to hit him first. But that means nothing, because he can tank my hit like it didn't happen and immediately end me while I'm recovering. The only option is an extended defensive match.
- Anonymous
When I aggro'd him he glitched into the wall and then fell through the map and died. Anyone else had this?
- Anonymous
toxic mist for him then runned to the balcon and just saw him fell thru a wall and he was dead strange but well hes a pisser.
- Anonymous
Cheese strat: Go up the stairs where you enter his area and then get his attention. As soon as he starts following you, drop down from the stairs to the first edge leading down and spam ranged spell attacks or bow as he cannot hit you or jump down.
- Anonymous
I was struggling with him until i swapped out my uchigatana for onikiri, ****ing melted him.
- Anonymous
Dude's got NO poise. I 2 handed the Executioner Greatsword and as long as he isn't doing his WA (which caught me by surprise and killed me in one go in the first encounter) you can stunlock him with R1 spam. EZ PZ
- Anonymous
Glad that greatsword’s weapon art just tanks all his moves and sends him flying.
R2 thrust/slash combo with the Washing Pole cuts through him like butter. The thrust will interrupt most of his attacks but the weapon art and the slash will almost always catch him giving you enough time for an R1 follow up before he breaks away.
- Anonymous
Ledo has 100 strength and then two hands the hammer for 150
- Anonymous
If you struggle with him as a mage just spam Homing (Crystal) Soulmass. Hits im almost every single time.
- Anonymous
if struggling use friede's great scythe as ledo can't be asked to dodge your r2 and r1 attacks, you might need a little bit of poise if you want to pull this off
- Anonymous
This dude reminds me a lot of Asta from black clover, so he is the beserk version of asta ?
- Anonymous
Does respawning the SotC let you fight him if you missed him earlier?

In order for him to spawn you HAVE to knock Midir off the bridge. Halflight can be dead, Gael can be dead, you can be unembered but as far as im aware Midir has to be ALIVE but knocked off the bridge in order for Ledo to spawn
- Anonymous
Storyteller Staff’s Poison Spores WA really came in handy. Aggro him out of the doorway and lure him to the ledge next to the stairs. Drop down to the nearest ledge, target him from below, and unleash the spores. Keep using the WA to keep his aggro up and let the poison do it’s magic.
- Anonymous
- Anonymous
2-handed spotted whip R2s break his poise. I just walked backwards down the stairs hitting him at range while poison did its thing. Only had to dodge once or twice.

God the fact that Ledo was going to have a unique and cool as **** looking armor set but it got scrapped is one of the stupidest things Miyazaki has done. Right up there with letting Ornstein's helmet go plume-less for as long as it did.
- Anonymous
I'm emebered I'm online and I revived Argo he still dosent spawn what do I do
- Anonymous
Ok Ledo, i already lost 200k souls to you, now give me the hammer and i go my way, it's a fair price
- Anonymous
After reading his backstory with Havel, I can kill him no longer...
- Anonymous
I killed him easily with +5 yhorms machete at 70 str since he doesnt use estus
- Anonymous
I killed Gael and Midir before I knew where to find him, now I can’t get him to spawn
- Anonymous
- Anonymous
Ledo is in the DLC. You are talking about the guy who invades in catacombs of carthus lake area or whatever.
- Anonymous
Hey guys. I'm running on low sl but I found alternative for those too lazy to roast in lava; go for the ledge with a corpse to lure him in, roll behind him through one of his attacks and use the force. Praise the gravity!
- Anonymous
i used to think he was just a guy claded in silver knight armor proclaiming himself a silver knight, but nope, he's the real deal
- Anonymous
- Anonymous
Well, damn. THAT was easy. Hammer or no, Ledo doesn't have the poise to trade with another Great Hammer. He's also vulnerable to Frostbite. Vordt's eats him for lunch.
- Anonymous
Even if you kill him in the tower he can still be summoned by the judicator giants.
- Anonymous
Ok he’s badass and all that stuff, but why is he so short compared to every other silver knight what’s the lore reason there Miyazaki?! I need answers now!
- Anonymous
- Anonymous
Imagine if they made this npc into a full scale enemy like the silver knights and he agro’d to the RKPG enemy
- Anonymous
This guy is the new old king doran. Hits like a train and insists on slowly walking like an edgelord
- Anonymous
Dude scared the***** out of me. All npcs I’ve fought just side walk when you draw bows against them and dodge every time. Ledo full on sprinted at me the moment I drew my dragonslayer great bow and smacked me with his train cargo on a stick. Nice surprise From.
- Anonymous
"Ledo won't invade if you have killed Halflight, Spear of the Church before his encounter." Is incorrect, still spawns.
- Anonymous
He invaded me even though I had killed halflight and gael before he invaded me.
- Anonymous
Ledo does invade if you kill the halfknight spear of church boss
- Anonymous
I’d rather have what would’ve been his armor than the herald armor it would’ve gave him a lot more character

If you don't care about how you kill him, Toxic Mist FTW. Run up to Ledo's spawn point and as he is spawning spurt your Toxic Mist at him and hide behind the corner so he can't see you and wait for him to get toxic. Once the effect ends Ledo will be on low health but not quite dead yet. Puff another cloud at him through the corner/walls and he will detect you but will get toxic again because he likes to edgewalk even in Toxic Mist as long as he doesn't see you. Then just back off and avoid him until he falls apart. Perfect.
- Anonymous
He's been invading me even though I defeated the spear of the church already.
From what I have seen he has somewhere around 2100-2200 health. Also with a weapon that does 55 poison damage it takes about 5 hits to poison him.
Bow Strat: Composite Bow +9 or +10 and 2 stacks of an arrow. (Tested on NG+9) First of all, you don't want to fight inside the room, bait him outside. It does 120 damage from normal R1 and 80 damage with roll R1; both with Standard Arrow. At mid-range just shoot him normally and hope he doesn't roll (he sometimes tank the arrow) and when he attacks just roll R1.
- Anonymous
Shouldn't he be a Black Knight? The hammer has the Black Knight weapon skin...?
- Anonymous
- Anonymous
How do you summon him? i went to the purging stone and roloaded the area several times. he won't come. i also killed gael if this is relevant.
- Anonymous
General melee strategy:
Bait out the weapon art, stay just outside of the range of the the two spins, then sprint straight at him as he transitions into the overhead smash. Roll past him just as the hammer starts to come down: if you time it right you'll i-frame through the hammer, clear the rock shatter AoE, and land a few feet behind him. He'll be stuck in his recovery animation for a good 3-4 seconds, so run up and get a backstab or R1/R2 combo, then roll away to regain your stamina. Repeat until dead.
- Anonymous
Today I learned while he can be parried, he recovers before you can riposte. So much for parry gods.
- Anonymous
I didnt kill halflight and i was embered, he didnt invade me for some reason
- Anonymous
Use a spear, pike, those kind of weapons. Ledo kind of just edge-walks until you're close enough.
Because spears and pikes are just out of Ledo's range, you can poke Ledo once, then backpedal, or roll away. Rinse and repeat until Ledo joins the pile of abused NPCs.
- Anonymous
For the Sorcerers and Dark casters in the game, dodge back and cast Great Soul Dregs. He'll dodge forwards, but the projectile is slow enough that it will hit him at the end of his dodge. Other slow projectiles might work, too, but this one you get for free as part of the DLC anyway.
- Anonymous
My dumb ass thought this was a real guy the first time I saw him.
- Anonymous
Are we in a bar? Cause it seems like this guy gets a lot of FREE SHOTS. Also unlimited stamina once you get him down to >75% health. Goes from being able to do four shots to as many as he wants because screw you that's why.
Furthermore, I have NEVER seen Ledo heal, IDK what some of you guys are on about, I know he doesn't because he chews through half my estus everytime I go in without an Ultra Great Weapon of some kind because he cannot be traded with. At all. I went in with a Havel build once and he just takes it.
Best strategy I can give is roll to HIS RIGHT on the first R1 and to HIS LEFT on the second R1. If you roll into where a Greathammers attack STARTS you have vastly higher odds of not getting a roll catch in.

If you're having issues with the Pancake King and his Hammer of Flatmaking, lure him out back the way you came in and jump down to the FIRST ledge. He should start trying to run/jump/swing at you from above, but he won't drop down and he won't back away into the building. Lock on to him and use bombs, arrows or spells with a large AoE to cheese the ***** out of him. Ten black firebombs and five large arrows were all it took. You won't be able to free aim your bow at him as he will be in the upper dead zone, but if you lock on and stand on the very edge of the ledge (careful not to fall off as you'll have to go all the way round and come back) you'll be able to hit him most of the time.
Alternatively, you could git gud and take the chance to practice dodging that *****ing hammer in a controlled way. It's a widely used PvP weapon so it can be a good chance to train yourself.
Another cheese involves forcing him off the ledge, or running it, throwing a high damage spell and then running off down the cliffs, then coming back and repeating the process until he runs out of estus and dies. He won't heal very often but I have seen it happen occasionally.

So, i was having some Trouble with Ledo here, and i***** you not after i got squashed by this dude's greathammer for like the fourth time my Dad popped in my room and asked if i wanted Pancakes for Dinner... I don't think i've ever been so sad eating pancakes before...

You require for a Silver Knight Ledo cosplay without fat rolling:
rings: Ring of Favor, Havel's Ring
wo/rings: 49 vitality
w/rings: 37 vitality
w/rings+1: 35 vitality
w/rings+2: 34 vitality
w/rings+3: 32 vitality

Is it possible, that he does not appear, if you are doing an low SL run? Running around with SL 15 and he won't appear. All Bosses are still alive.

Erm...I got invaded after I killed a player Spear of the Church...

Damn, this oneshotting dude was the hardest boss in the game...

For some strange reason he won't spawn. I haven't even defeated halflight yet.. wtf is this BS from software

"Silver Knight Ledo Information:
-Killable"
have you tried it on NG+2?
- Anonymous
- Anonymous
Why did they make Ledo respawn with the boss but not Seeker of the Spurned who has the more important drop?
- Anonymous
This dude will stunlock you do death, no matter your poise.
- Anonymous
- Anonymous
So... basically this whole article is full of lies. The boss who's death will stop Ledo from spawning is Midir. The whole thing about Halflight is not true, Halflight doesn't have any interaction with any npc invader. And FFS, when has an NPC invaded you in Dark Souls 3 while playing offline?

Ok listen up everybody if you'r having problems with that son of a b***h Ledo not invading and you have a pirated version of the game like CODEX or similar here is what you do.
1. Go to ----- Program Files/Dark Souls 3 The Ringed City/Game -----
2. Find --------Steam_emu.ini and copy it to Desktop just in case
3. While in Game folder got to----- Steam_emu.ini ------- properties and CHECK OFF READ ONLY and save changes
4. Open the Folder with Notepad, Find a line ----- Set Steam connection to offline mode----- and underneath Offline=1 change to Offline=0
5. Save -----Steam_emu.ini------ to Documents
6. Delete Steam_emu.ini from Game
7. Cut and paste ---- Steam_emu.ini----- from Documents to Game
8. Kill Ledo and take his Hammer
Spread the word. If you like the game buy it.
Cutting out Ledo's unique armor set is Miyazaki's final Dark Souls sin.

Do you REALLY have to be online for npc invasions in this DLC?
- Anonymous
Just a note, he doesn't seem to be able to invade you if you are offline, as in without a network connection (i turned my wifi back on and he just suuddenly invaded me :P)
- Anonymous
I love this invader and I'm kinda of sad that he wore regular sliver knight armor because I've recently seen what they wanted his armor to look like and it looked so badass.
It was like a hybrid of the sliver knight and the millwood knight set
- Anonymous
This dude can parry you completely out of the blue. I Perseverance w/ BKS and charge L2 as he spawns and he switches to his shield, parries me, switches back to 2h and combos me.
- Anonymous
Halflight Spear is dead and this guy still invaded me.

17448 souls in new game + +
i assume its the same every new game
- Anonymous
I got through the halflight fight before finding him and he still invaded. I did kneel at the statue but I didn't pay the souls to reset halflight before I got the invasion.
- Anonymous
cant get this dude to spawn, actually i never got invaded in the dlc even though i was always embered, also im a cracked game user so i cant use dried fingers. any tips? the church boss and midir both are alive, ive reset the game, nothing triggers the spawn of any invading npc
- Anonymous
What's the difference between the Ledo in NG and the one in NG+? I was already on NG+ so never saw the NG Ledo
If you aren't embered he's also invades and you can't use a ember.
It seems he does not use estus. I killed him first try with only half health and 2 estus left, just by spamming Wolf Knight GS weapon art and kiting, when I backed off recovering the stamina he only chases with normal speed and never used any healing even when his health has been chipped under 1/3. I think this is a good information but it needs further testing.

I have a feeling that Ledo was a human allowed among the silver knights due to his incredible strength and affiliation with Havel. It would make sense as the havel knights were also humans serving the gods but he excelled and became a silver knight. As for why hes in the dlc, I believe he's serving the only true god left as anor londo fell along with gwyndolin
- Anonymous
Any theories on who Ledo is? I feel like I am missing something. His hammer doesn't give any information except that he's a knight of Anor Londo (which you'd already assume). I don't remember / couldn't find any references to him in the other games. I don't see any real clues in the place where he spawns either (not even sure what the point of that area is)... I guess he's just an old knight of Anor Londo.. I saw some people mention he's related to Havel in some way but I don't know if that was a joke or if I missed some information.
I guess the the moaning knight is about equally vague, although at least with him I can assume he was guarding a firekeeper at one time maybe (might have missed something there)? Alva is near the black witch corpse, similar to finding his armor next to Karla..
- Anonymous
thanks, but he is still not summoning for me even after I followed your steps (sad face)
- Anonymous
I beat the church boss and went to his location afterwards, and he still invaded
- Anonymous
No Silver Knight weapons in vanilla game
Silver Knight Invader in DLC
Doesn't drop Silver Knight weapons. This is a sad day.
- Anonymous
So here is how I successfully summoned Ledo after completing the DLC.
1. Revive Judicator Argo at purging monument
2. replace Spear of the Church covenant with other covenant
Go to that tower and you don't have to be embered to trigger the fight, I'm not sure which one is necessary for the fight but it works, hope this information helps
ps: I have 1k hp and he 2 killed me by 2 hits
- Anonymous
i apparentely can't get invaded by this guy. I already completed the dlc and defeated all the bosses, so i guess he will not invade anymore if all bosses are dead... wich is complete bullshit, since the pyromancer invader in Ashes of Ariande would invade you even if you already killed all the bosses. Ok, i guess. Anyone having my same problem?

I'm surprised no one has mentioned this but look up, "Dark Souls Rosie - BIG TRUCK", I'm wondering if this inspired Silver Knight Ledo. That video was one of the OG viral souls videos and there's a good chance someone at Fromsoft saw it.
