Witch's Ring is a Ring in Dark Souls 3.
Witch's Ring Effect
- Boosts Pyromancies damage by 25%.
- Weight: 1.0
Where to Find Witch's Ring
- Found at Catacombs of Carthus after destroying the rope bridge and climbing down the far end of the broken bridge and continue past the Flame Demon to the left of the bonfire. The ring is on a corpse at the end of the hall.
- Video location (fextralife video starting at 2h 17m 45s)
- Alternative Video Example
Notes
- Stacks with Great Swamp Ring.
- Does not increase damage of Carthus Flame Arc.
Trivia
- Interestingly enough, when the 12% boost of the Great Swamp Ring is stacked with the 25% increase of the Witch's Ring, the damage gets an increase of about 40%. This is actually because the stacking is calculated by multiplying the percentages. 1.25*1.12 = 1.4, so a 40% increase.

Pyromancy gets their rings way too fast. As a pyromancer I'm fine with this but it isn't fair for sorcerers and especially clerics. Way less love to those for some reason.

how else should percentages be calculated? unmathemathically?

I know it stacks with the swamp ring, but can you stack two witch rings? :thonk:

What is up with these awful playthrough videos being used as the guide for items? They are not helpful, and do not clearly show you where to locate these rings.

A pyromancy ring that does not work with pyromancies found in the same zone... nice.

This reminds me of the Orange Charred Ring from darksouls 1

Does this ring increase effectiveness or duration of flash sweat or any of the status effect pyromancies?

I feel like this and the Sage Ring are the only recommended rings for a pyro build, and can skip out on Great Swamp Ring unless going for a pure caster.

So the list of things that increase fire damage led me here. Does this truly increases all fire damage or was it just put there because some pyromancies do fire damage? I'm mainly asking because of infusions and/or fire buffs. Though it appears according to this page the flame arc does not work. I seem to remember that being a flat percent increase from the flame arc page.
I run around mostly with infusions to reduce the hassle of buying and taking the time to use resins or wasting slots with spell buffs. My main is mainly (lol) a pyromancer that is also kind of a jack of all trades, master of none. I'm not interested in the most optimized build for max damage or whatever, but I'm looking into now heavily leaning either the fire or dark direction with my infusions and finding which small changes in gear I can use to squeeze out a little more focused damage. Anyone out there have knowledge to share on this? Mugenmonkey doesn't seem to know that the blindfold mask increases dark damage and I won't be able to field test for awhile... Or I wouldn't ask.
Caveat: I cannot see my build ever being without chaos bed vestiges, affinity, and lightning arrow. Go figure. Demon Scar and Crystal chime are the spice of Dark Souls 3!
Thanks for any info. Or hilarious arguments that ensue.

Would this stack with itself if you have another one from NG+? I'm just imagining someone rocking four of these things and getting double damage.

This ring looks EXACTLY like the Orange Charred ring from DS1!

How does this ring effect Toxic/Poison Mist?? Does the duration increase? Damage per second increase?
When you find misinformation in the wiki, it's okay to remove the false information.I wonder how long this has been here...

There are two sections for the witch ring btw. Like two pages

This looks strikingly like the Orange Charred Ring you get from the Centipede Demon in Dark Souls 1

"thaught" humans the art of pyromancy and offered them this ring.
It does affect the Flame Arc, but the effect is negligible. It also stacks with the Fire Clutch Ring and any other damage-enhancement ring like Red Tearstone Ring, Lloyd's Sword Ring.

As far as they stacks, boosting effect should be about 34%. Let normal damage be 100%. Then with the first ring it is 112%, and with the second one it is 1.12 * 1.20 = 1.344 or about 134% of initial damage.

Does the witch's ring increase the carthus beacon dmg also? Or is it just some pregnancies?
- Anonymous
It does stack with the swamp ring, however it appears that it's boost is less than it.
